I know for a fact that this is not one of the Best Handheld Ports Of Rayman 2 to take with you. =/ It's a good thing I didn't get the DS Version before,I almost did ask for it when I was getting a game,but I ended up Getting Pac-Man World 3 for DS instead. But All I can say is,I think the iOS and PSP Version might be a better choice..even though the PSP Version is a Emulated Port of the PS1 Version [For Download on the Playstation Network on Both PS3 and PSP.[

this is actually a port of the n64 version. no big difference. kinda like super mario 64 ds, but that game had way more differences.

When I first got my Nintendo DS I had this game free with it, along with a 3D racing game. I wouldn't say this game port is bad, just look at most of the 2D games released for the Nintendo DS now. I'm not saying the 2D games are bad, but where did the many 3D games go? This game did show off what the Nintendo DS could do and I was amazed and how good the graphics were for a handheld console. :D

The DS has the same problem as the N64 had. It has great graphics but an awful resolution wich make the graphics looks like shit even if they're pretty good.

This is funny, i got my old CD of this out to play the other day, now i find its on DS.

the graphics are so ugly on this game. It's partly due to the choppy animation and pixelated textures, but to be honest, it's more as a result of the ds' painfully low screen resolution and trying to cram too much detail into a handful of pixels.

It's nothing to do with the resolution. The DS cannot filter textures like the N64 can. But they could have redone the textures to look better like Mario 64 DS. And the game has a really bad framerate in game. This video makes it look better than it is.

Yeah, sadly the DS doesn't even support multiple tranparency. I played this game on 3 consoles and the DS Version is definitely not that pretty, but it's also kind of a callenge because it's way harder on DS.

I don't blame the DS though, as far better games have been made. Final Fantasy 3 and 4 for example have proven that the DS can do that transparency trick with blooms of light and such. This is just a bad port, not the DS' fault.
