And by the way.. JT much more handsome in person.. Hazel eyes that were mesmerizing.. We went every time they were there.. I miss the 80's. Music today like someone mentioned Justin Beiber he looks like a girl and his music even if I was a teen would not do it for me..JT miss you..

Everything you're saying I agree with. I'm saddened because I love Kool and The Gang and have since the young age of 8. I enjoyed their music a whole lot. I come from a generation of Jodeci, Mary J Blige, Tupac and even some R Kelly, but Kool and The Gang for some reason get more respect from me. I seen Omarions video Ice Box the other day, and in beginning of the video Omarion's sitting at a table w/ Baphomet in the back ground to the left of him. All this demonic stuff is messed up.
Actually the lyrics are very deep to this song. He ask what is the price if he goes with her....is it gonna be his soul? They say that is exactly what these ppl in the industry have to give up for their fame and fortune. Start with a video with Tupac called "Breaking The Oath' and also "Boule Rappers". Also John Todd lecture on demonic influence in music is deep.

The video was made arround the same time that Indiana Jones was big in the movie theater, and so the producers of this video wanted to give us (the viewers of the music video) that Indiana Jones vibe. Saw them at the Rainbow in London at the height of all these releases - late 70's. They were amazing. My music business mate got us tickets 10 rows from the front and as soon as the horn section began, it was like an electric current going trough you. They played all the well known hits and I'm sure they played this. Its a concert I have never forgotten. Amazing stuff.

Everything you're saying I agree with. I'm saddened because I love Kool and The Gang and have since the young age of 8. I enjoyed their music a whole lot. I come from a generation of Jodeci, Mary J Blige, Tupac and even some R Kelly, but Kool and The Gang for some reason get more respect from me. I seen Omarions video Ice Box the other day, and in beginning of the video Omarion's sitting at a table w/ Baphomet in the back ground to the left of him. All this demonic stuff is messed up.

Actually the lyrics are very deep to this song. He ask what is the price if he goes with her....is it gonna be his soul? They say that is exactly what these ppl in the industry have to give up for their fame and fortune. Some of the ppl say they were "MISLED" in the industry and found out it was something else entirely. Do the research on that. Start with a video with Tupac called "Breaking The Oath' and also "Boule Rappers". Also John Todd lecture on demonic influence in music is deep.

This video isn't from a movie! The video was made arround the same time that Indiana Jones was big in the movie theater, and so the producers of this video wanted to give us (the viewers of the music video) that Indiana Jones vibe. This video is telling a story of a young boy being misled into something demonic, and the young boy is no one other than, "James T Taylor of Kool and the Gang".

Somewhere I have a video of these guys I shot live here in Detroit, when JT had come back to the band at the Taste Fest. To me, they were a great group pounding out the hits. But like all groups of that time, it had to come to end. I miss Kool & The Gang with JT!

Saw them at the Rainbow in London at the height of all these releases - late 70's. They were amazing. My music business mate got us tickets 10 rows from the front and as soon as the horn section began, it was like an electric current going trough you. They played all the well known hits and I'm sure they played this. Its a concert I have never forgotten. Amazing stuff.

This is my favourite song by Kool & The Gang.I have it on a 45rpm single (vinyl record for anyone too young to remember them), and this song is on the 'B' side of Cherish.I was lucky enough to see them live in the early '90's, fantastic !!!

when he left kool and the gang it was because he was sick and not able to perform and the band members were upset with him and so he performed sick and after that he left the group...he came back a few year later but the group was never the same after that.
