I've never heard this before. As a white man I have a great admiration for what people of colour were doing in music during the 1960's and 70's. I loved so much of what came out of that time period from the world renowed Stevie Wonder to lesser known acts such as Pete Winfield(not having grown up in an urban area there was so much more I missed). Rap and Hip Hop may be the dominant form in black music today.....but being the biggest doesn't make it the best. Proof? The Last Poets!!

Even later, people in the Kongo Kingdom (including the king) converted when Portugal sent missionaries, but avoided invasion for 400 years. They were simply too strong for anyone to dare try.
Later on, it probably was spread forcefully, but Christianity was in Africa for 1500 years before it was forced on Africans.

@MatheusLegenda Islam as well spread into parts of Africa peacefully, by trade and transmission. The initial push was invasion, but that is not the whole story. I believe most of Sub-Saharan Africa that is Muslim now has adopted it peacefully, but I am not certain.

Slavery is not new. In fact, because it's thought that all civilization originated in Africa, its very possible that African's were the first people to take slaves. Europeans owned slaves for centuries. Same with the ancient Greeks, Romans, Chinese... Every civilization is the same. EXCEPT... No country ever treated their slaves like THIS country. There is no other word for the kidnappings of Africans that took place over hundreds of years, but GENOCIDE. And that genocide continue today

Also the Irish were indentured servants which is very different from slavery b/c A) Indentured servitude was only temporary so the Irish trash did not have to suffer a lifetime of bondage. B) After their time of indentured servitude was over they were given money & land from those that he worked for. That is totally different from the slavery of so-called "blacks" as they suffered a lifetime of slavery.

I've never heard this before. As a white man I have a great admiration for what people of colour were doing in music during the 1960's and 70's. I loved so much of what came out of that time period from the world renowed Stevie Wonder to lesser known acts such as Pete Winfield(not having grown up in an urban area there was so much more I missed). Rap and Hip Hop may be the dominant form in black music today.....but being the biggest doesn't make it the best. Proof? The Last Poets!!

In biblical times people were given names that fit their characteristics or anything relating to them. One ex. is the name 'Moses' which means draw near water b/c baby moses, which was named by the Pharoah's daughter, found him in a basket on a lake.
So being that Ham was of very dark skin how would his seed line look like? Take your time and think!

Pardon me but the veritable fact is that there are indeed many different variations for the name Mohammed.There is no one version that is accepted as universal but rather all of the versions are accepted as the One.For instance I have a good friend who goes by the name of Mahmut and another named Mehmet.I also know a Gambian named Momodu.I would not be so quick as to call people buffoons before I make sure that I myself don't sound like one.

Who said that none of the moors in Spain were not black? Quite obviously many were. The Ummayads were certainly not (And yes, there are contemporary portraits of them as the Arabs did produce minutes (Presumably another conspiracy)) The Murabitun and Almuwahidun were Berbers (Who are also not black) Though it is quite possible they intermarried with black Africans as they did with white Europeans.

This is another way which pure logic debunks lies, the word 'Moor' comes from the greek word 'maures' which means BLACK. The reason why is b/c during the time of the greeks, the greeks stepped foot into north africa, and saw the people that would later on named Moors with very dark skin as if they were the actual color black hence the name Moor/Maures! Also the people of Spain called the Moors "Moreno" which means black, so how could non black people be called a name which means black? Smh!

@MatheusLegenda Christianity did not spread into Africa through invasion - at least not initially. Ethiopia embraced Christianity in the 3rd century, long before any European nation. Even later, people in the Kongo Kingdom (including the king) converted when Portugal sent missionaries, but avoided invasion for 400 years. They were simply too strong for anyone to dare try.
Later on, it probably was spread forcefully, but Christianity was in Africa for 1500 years before it was forced on Africans.

@MatheusLegenda I'm sorry, but there were no white missionaries in Ethiopia, and no empirical goals except for those of the Ethiopian Emperor himself (or herself even, when the Hebrew religion first came 1000 years BC). The Roman Empire from which Christianity sprouted was yet to cease from persecuting Christians when the faith first entered Africa.
I do not separate the work of the missionaries from the empirical goals of the white nations.

@MatheusLegenda Perhaps it was a blessing that Ethiopia had been Christian for 1500 years. No missionaries could sew confusion amongst the people or sway or weaken their loyalties with a new religion. Either way, it was adopted by the Ethiopian rulers for their own purposes, not for those of any white nation, or any invader for that matter.

They remained independent from well before the entire history of Christianity until the present, yet their beliefs and concepts are still much the same as the "White man's Christianity". @MatheusLegenda Islam as well spread into parts of Africa peacefully, by trade and transmission. The initial push was invasion, but that is not the whole story. I believe most of Sub-Saharan Africa that is Muslim now has adopted it peacefully, but I am not certain.

While some white folks might not like the lyrics, as poetry it IS EXCELLENT---the rhyme, the meter, everything. It shows things as they were in 1969.
