Before you put the grip on, use the knife to scrape the thin layer of laquor from the top of your board. Also use the access grip thats cut off to file down the edge of the grip after its on your board. makes the edges flush to the board and prevents peeling. besides that, this man knows his shit. good vid. not like these weak pussy kids who take forever cutting grip.....then fuck it off with hangover grip.

a few other tips is taking the grip tape you cut and running it along the edges to make sure it dosent peel off and over the griptape to break it in

i have one more step to MY gripping process. you take the excess grip that you have after you cut it and you rub it along the edges of the grip, it makes the grip smooth little on the sides so that if you fuck up a trick and land on it grip side down, you don't rip a chunk of grip off. it works, trust me. I've been skating for about nine years so I'm not just some poser fag who doesn't know what he's talking about.

go with a blowdryer (or whatever its called, you know, that machine u use to dry ur hair) over it. you can remove ur old griptape by just rippin it off, then place new one. if ur deck is good enough at least
