Took 4 pads 1 cymbal from my DTXPlorer and put them into my ION kit, so much better rebound than in the ION stock pads and they work perfectly.

@headsnypa yes, but you will need to buy a Yamaha HH65 for the high hat pedal, which could cost $70. I would just get the entire thing and split the kick pedal port for double bass.

I have an ion kit with 2 cymbals. Could i get this module or any other module for that matter and then when rock band 3 comes out get a midi adapter? I could sell my current drum module for my ion rocker. That way one module lets me play real drums and rockband?

@Dave20401993 doubt it. shipping is going to increase the price up, though you can try contacting him. I would just look at austrian music stores for the module, third cymbal, and high hat pedal and for the block rocker while getting the xcells at rbp.

nope the dtxplorer is only available with the the kit and the roadie hi-hat isnt anywhere

roadie in general isnt available in austria & germany. (i looked everywere) the shipping for the xcells is more than double the price of the xcell pads alone so screw it. but if mr. ryan could make me a good offer for shipping etc. it whould be nice :D

I use a Simmons SD7k. This kit is completely ready for mass awsomeness. Only upgrade if you choose is to buy a double bass pedal and the MIDI adapter when RB3 comes out. It the cheapest and best kit for your dollar.

Wow, I had no idea the Drumrocker pads were actually as sensitive as that (8:30 on the snare), I guess the regular ION brain just doesn't bother with the lower sensitivities.

@sgtgnome You are wrong! The small red box (The Roadie Kick Box RB) converts the signal of your pedal so it WILL work with Rock Band. I have many examples of different videos showing this as well :D

@RockBandParts The kick with the stand and beater won't work for mine though. It came with the Ion Pro Upgrade kit. I have the roadie double bass coupler. So your saying the only way for me to use the kick with beater is with buying the kick box?

@sgtgnome Correct! The sensors in your pad are different - the roadie kick box will change the signal to work with rock band. It is literally that easy :)

$299 if you ONLY buy the module at a place like Musicians Friend... But for only $100.00 more, you get a TON of EXTRA stuff from us: The module, Cymbal, Hi-Hat Pedal, Roadie Kick Rocker, Roadie Kick Box RB, Custom Module Mount, Wiring/Cables, Clamps, ETC.

Without the custom fabricated mount that we had made, you will not be able to mount the module to the ION... Without making something yourself of course :)
