well..now who ever heard of the fact that you're supposed to put studs on horses that are being shown on grass? obviously not these folks, and how about sitting up and not jumping ahead..these all seem new to them..

let me tell you something: those falls happened in colombia and in the rain season the grass is awfull and even if you use studs the horses fell down. Not everyone rides like that, a lot of people actually sit up and wait for the jump you just have lo look other videos from the good colmbian riders. sorry for my english.

you're right, not all riders do that, but if you are competing at this show and you know your horse doesn't have studs on and you're still throwing your weight on his front end that's not smart or safe. but everywhere you go you'll find people like that, it's just a matter of paying attention to what the conditions are and how they are effecting the horses, safety needs to come far before winning especially with animals as large and fragile as these.

they should have used studs to help them stop slipping. most of the riders fell because they anticipated the jump, like they went into jumping position too early. hopefully they'll learn in time to wait for the jump to come to you!!
