I think it's funny because this was written by Tom Morello and Adam Jones... and eventually, a hell of a long time later, sung by Maynard as kind of a tribute I guess. Tom and Adam were in a band once, but I guess they didn't do anything besides write a couple songs because I can't find any recordings of them. "Electric Sheep" was the name I believe.

If you want more awesome Puscifer songs, I recommend "Queen B" because it's hypnotic and puts you in a transelike state, and also "The Humbling River" because I think it's one of the best songs ever written. As with a lot of Maynard's work, Puscifer is an acquired taste.

this song is fuckin great. apparently its a cover of a song written by "the electric sheep", which was Adam Jones' and Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine) first band they were in together. i read somewhere they never actually performed it because they were afraid too or something haha. Maynard ressurected it, and did a damn good job. there are many different aspects to all of us, and maynard expresses that quite well with all of his musical projects.
