Awww I wish I could have seen it while it was here in Vegas. It kinda makes me sad seeing this video and how happy everyone was and how they all said it's here to stay... because it didn't. I think it ran like 3 months? Too bad. It seems like it didn't even get a chance. Oh well, It seems like Vegas might be learning a leson about cutting down shows. Lion King and Jersey Boys are full length and are huge hits. But then again, Phantom is 95 minutes and still doing great. Idk. Miss you Hairspray!

i totally agree with you! the show went much tooo fast for my liking. soo many great songs were cut. but it was still a great production- just could have been better.

the hairspray show in las vegas! they do 4 or five a day so they have to make it shorter!!

It was good. Harvey and Dick were Great. i loved it but it was only like 90 minutes and my 2 favorite songs were cut so i was dissappointed about that but the show was good.

I have a question about the Vegas show... I saw in these clips during Maybelle's verse in YCSTB, they were still dancing on the plain white steps, then it cut to a different clip of Amber and Velma in their verse, and they were dancing on the big, elaborate set piece that had all the flip dos and "hairspray" logos. How did they change the set piece so quickly? I don't get it.

They cut ALL of those songs? Oh that sucks those are some of my faves too. Tracy, Link, Penny, Seaweed, Inez, etc. must have had to get changed FAST to get to the finale, because they cut cooties.
