actually you weren't playing tactically you were just making use of your high lvl and nice gear i defeated him at lvl 45 without getting damaged (including Heartless Angel )

@Vikksi2796 tactics are at phase one just spam block and counter sephy will repeat himself until phase 2 just don't pull your finisher in second phase use reflect when he casts dark flare and run away from his stigma w8 for his flash move and use the R command to deal damage after blocking when using the heartless angel just use the tactic this guy does or use elixir.

@thcoolatos where can i find elixirs and potions i actually have none because i can't buy them anywhere and i never find any items with them. The only place i know i can get hyper potions from are the world that never was but they are really expensive and i don't have much money (damn you donald and your expensive weapon...)

@Vikksi2796 well actually elixirs require a lot of grinding since they can be synthesised

that goes for hi potions as well to get a lot of money just go to where you fought Barbosa there are a tone of gamblers there use the reaction command and win the game you should make good money I always use Decisine Pumkin for Sephiroth (and Terra in the Final Mix) as it boosts your power acording to the number of your combos

but Oblivion or Fatal Crest can also do the job

@Vikksi2796 In third and fourth phase he will start using more often his teleport slash so when thrown in the air use square just when he reapears to counter midair that shoul deal substaincial damage and when he uses the dark materia\meteor storm copy this guy mainly use block during his octaslash and find the right time to counter or spam reflect and let him take the damage instead and FFS dont use CURAGA its slow and takes out your MP

dude when he summons the dark ball things use reflect it gets rid of them =P and put your items on so you can use them quik instead of having to go to items to use them and maybe level up more, but other than that great job =)

HAHAHAHAHA, plz, he was way overlevaled for this fight, the challenge comes when you have almost none of the drive form skills, and no ultima, and your in mid 60's, just like if you get to Lv.100 in the first game, the fight loses its magic, and it becomes easy

This fight isn't as difficult if you reach level 99 and upgrade your growth abilities. Doing so is the best way to ensure that you will beat him.

Like for instance, I beated Sephiroth while at lvl 62, using the kingdom key. It was not easy, I tell ya. Took me, what, 3 hours at least to finally analyze and beat the hell out of him.....

BTW, there was no reward other than a short fight between him and cloud :(

You have the right idea... Some things you need to change is: Use reflega on the dark circles, use glide when he shoots stuff at you, and use guard on his regular combo. Otherwise you have the right idea.

LEVELING RULES: When fighting sephiroth I suggest:

Easy: 55+ (He does a decent amount of damage but can be taken out at 55)

Normal: 65+ (He's way tougher than easy, know his moves)

Proud: 75+ (He takes out about 1/4 a bar per hit. Use Air Dodge and Glide level 3 to succeed.

my best strategy. try to hit him as many times possible. this keeps him from attacking unless he teleports. save mp for curaga. i use aerial attacks but i hit him a few times, then i tap square while still in the air so i could hit him a lot. use curaga and u should use berserk charge so you will have infinite combos during mp charge.
