IF the price is very low, say US$12000 with the cottage on it then I say sounds good. However, some of these guys purchased the property several years ago and are working a get-rich-quick scheme.

My other "issue" is that I'm inherently VERY skeptical and distrustful of anyone terming themselves a "developer" or of the term "my industry" and "development communities" "developers" always seem to try and couch themselves in benign or pseudo beneficial terms as if they are somehow helping people by getting involved. There's always an angle of self interest or profit hidden in there. Why not leave it all ALONE?

I guess my primary "issue" (if there IS one) is essentially the notion that in spite of whatever motives or decency these guys may have, they ARE, in essence.. "auslanders", farang, gringos, if you will. And just by that inherent nature they are not "from" there. Granted that yes, they may indeed be the lesser of two evils and preferable to more "evil" gringos. they are still gringos.
