He's got power... he's a singer you can be sitting in the least acoustic room and still be able to hear him... he can hit the long soulful notes and even when he gets loud he's still very listenable... I personally think that seasons finale was one of the best... but Cook had it from the beginning... He won where Daughtry didn't... and that's personality and stage presence...

And FYI, the competition got too much for her because the judges/producers, especially Simon, were being tools. She always got backhanded compliments, while Adam and Danny had full-on praises, one of the being often undeserving.

Sorry I do not agree with you. I realize the truth. Here it is. Matt Giraud was consistent the whole way through. The judges just put him down because they wanted Adam or Danny to win. That is why they praise them a lot. Allison was also consistent all way but she needed to dressmore properly and had no sex appeal. That is why some of the people did not like her. I am happy Kris won. It was something to put the judges in their place.
