AFAIK, sumo isn't military in origin. Also, most Japanese MA with a '-do' suffix tends to be gendai budo. These are generally developed during the modern period, rather than for military use. There are exceptions, of course.

I don't think Aikido is of military origin. A lot of the moves themselves were based off of military attacks but I don't think the martial art itself...I'll have to look it up more but I'm pretty sure it wasn't.
