@CHELSEA14313 I took your suggestion and listened to this song. I listened to the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra's version. Within the first few notes, I knew I had heard this before. Needless to say, the tears poured down my face. It is such a beautiful and EXTREMELY moving piece of music. It's amazing the affect music can have on a person. Especially the emotions. It's unlike anything else I know of. Thanks for the suggestion. It's absolutely beautiful.
Every time I listen to this piece I walk away from it feeling utterly empty, lost and alone. For some reason it evokes all past experiences of death and loss in me. For music to have that effect on the human mind is pure genius. Einaudi is a genius.

I've had more than a difficult time since my husband passed and this music is the only thing I have found that gives me any sense of calm and peace. It just climbs inside of me and everything around just fades away. It helps more than any pill the doctor has given me. I found this music when I needed it the most.
Yesterday, I discovered the music of this incredibly talented human being. I'm new to this genre of music. 2 days to be exact. I'm a fan of Rock. But for reasons I can't put into words, his music touches me unlike anything I've ever heard. This is the only song that brought tears (so far). My husband passed away at the young age of 40 and within the first 20 notes of this song, the music reached into my heart and pulled my hubby right up to the surface. Like him, this song is truly amazing.
