I dont feel like the remix here actually improves the song at all. it feels like the words still have the melancholy mood they have in the original song, and then it doesnt sound right when mixed with the high energy techno beats. maybe it could have been mixed better, or maybe it's just a bad song for a techno remix. not to hate, it sounds interesting, but not better in my opinion.

This isn't really an excuse, but I am a casual listener of Electric music and thats a combersum term. I think techno has come to be the blanket term, like rock has for things with guitar and drums. It's just a term used in mild conversation, not musical theory. But I also understand that for some reason most electric genres have a deep seeded rivalry with the other genres they are simular to (ie Nu and hard, they are simular to the casual but not a vet)
