Interesting, but there's one thing I don't agree upon this video. I never use a ball point pen as this one because first, it's not good to draw in pen and second, that type of pen uses too much ink, thus not making the lines just one line in itself, but what he draws is very nice!

I was thinking about working on that, actually. Drawing anatomically correct hands/fingers can be pretty tricky at first, but very rewarding once you master it. I will see what I can do to make it easier for everyone to learn to draw hands.

i really love the way you draw because you h=have what i lack, the abilitly to draw muscles. . if you look at my anime slideshow you can see that i mainly foucus on picture perfect smooth faced people which is a habit i dont like
Have you seen Vagabond? Samurai Champloo? Astroboy? Gensomaden Saiyuki? Do you notice how different they look from mainstream "manga" and each other? Does something really have to have big round eyes, and little button noses to be called manga?

If you're REALLY skilled, you can start w/ a pen. But it's usually smarter to start w/ pencil, then continue w/ a pen.

Don't tip your pencil on the paper a hundert times to draw one line!
If you draw a line, then do it straightly (bad english, i know), it's much easier!!!
