  • I think this is better than the s**t they turn out today on a $5,000,000,000 budget.... maybe

they should give this guy the money. good 1 thanks.

  • That was so kool

  • Omg that was really really good!

  • Lov it but horrible sounda

  • Great job guys keep it up!

  • That was a really good job and yes, the lead actress really carried the film...great acting on her part. :)

  • I really liked this film. I know you guys could have made a better one if you had time, but I really wanna see a feature film for this or maybe a sequel or a re-imagined version of this. Very entertaining! Good luck with your future works!

  • is it ok if i put a song to this video? i will post as a vid response pleeeeaaassee :)

  • this is awesome, in the dream when that guy was choking, the masked guy was just like "Oh just shut up and die!"

  • Great job you guys, keep up the good work...

  • A bit too heavy on the cliches, for instance the overused waking up suddenly to find it was just a dream, then finding out that it really is real and dying. Otherwise, great movie.

  • very very good! really made me jump lol very impressed! keep up the good work

  • The mask is heaps creepy :)

  • Nice job man!

  • This actually isn't that bad. If you're still making short films, I have a script that I have been trying for a really long time to find actors for. I'll be able to handle whatever small costs there might be. Plus you can use whatever music you want, because it's not for a contest. Please reply back if you're interested. I promise you won't regret.........................least I don't think you will

  • i swear it's the first woman i see in stalker --.--

  • reminds me of a mr. vorheese...

  • ive been watching these all day and thanks to yours im scared shitless to babysit tonight. they live in the middle of no where o.O and im only 14

  • too basic, =]

  • Pretty good movie! I like it. My type of style. Horror, but some non horror parts too. Great job.

  • Shit, I jumped XD

  • amazing job for one day shoot. very impressive! you do an excellent job of creating the aura of suspense.

  • 5:06 she's walking on hands and knees and 5:08 she's standing straight up :S And that part was also just too predictable, because she was looking at the door he was about to use... But 3:17 made me jump. Awesome part! And how did the contest turn out? :)

    -Vincent

  • I love the window scene whe the man is ordering pizza and the kill after it was great i didnt see it coming at all. i love the killers mask and style i'm always lookg for good home made horror movies and this was just what i was looking for! thank you for all the hard work you put into this great short film!

  • the mask made me laugh but i loved the film

  • This is great. Really shows you can do something good with no budget, no script and just natural talent! Enjoyed the cheap thrills of exciment! Classical horror story but enjoyable!!

I'm currently working on a short film of 5 minutes for a project for my film course, so seeing this has helped me a lot

  • Pretty good but u cud expand it lngr

  • That was fuckin hilarious. hahaha nice one

  • wow the girl looks like juicystar07

  • wow. that was really well done and edited. i filmed a short horror film myself and was wondering if you could give me some tips on editing and the shots where there was fake blood and the whole killing scene. i used an editor on my iphone and it wasn't exactly the best...what editor do you use?

  • The ending part was like OMG! xD Very well done!

  • The stalker looks like Jason from HALLOWEEN!

  • @ALPHADESIGNTAMPICO

    Jason from halloween? lol

you mean jason from FT13 or micheal from halloween?

  • @Dougiepooh69 Ah but you got my point xD hahaha

  • Lol...hahaha....5:25 the dude is like "Fuck off..... who cares"

  • Hehe 'stab him' 'stab him?'

  • good job man,, shit me up lol im trying to go for the same scary effect to miss lead the audiance into misjudging a character,, any advice??

  • I like it very much, good job!!!

  • VErY CoOL

  • Ok..not too shabby. Pretty good acting and a great story...One thing did bug me, and it's silly, really. But, when Brad ordered the pizza, he didn't leave an address or telephone number. How would the pizza guy know where to bring their food?

  • @DragoBloodlust If they order regularly, then it's on record. Whenever we call our favorite pizza place, they automatically acknowledge our address and our telephone number and all we have to do is place our order.

  • This was really good!! The actors were phenomenal and the story believable, I jumped like hell when the murderer showed up behind the guy even though I expected that...

  • it was pretty good especially for one day. i'm trying to make a film too and i know ALL about limited resources. i agree that the door scene just didn't reall play out that well and i think your killer should have had some personality. but hey i cant be too harsh cause my video isn't a whole lot better and i really liked the end with the ripples in the shower curtain, that was pretty cool

  • Excellent--well shot, audio was crisp, and great acting. I think the one thing I'd probably change was that the ending was a little *too* drawn out. Doesn't take away from it being an awesome film though. Great job!

  • haha wow that's awesome!! want it to be longer :P

  • That was great and scared me more than 1 of these new lame horror movies.

  • Amazing!

  • My old house looked JUST LIKE THIS one. Haha. It's where I filmed all of my films as well.

  • Omg 5stars very well done ur gonna be famous one day all of you! Reminds me of prom night ;]

  • REALLY good job considering what you were given to work with.

  • wow this was pretty good I enjoyed it and if u shot it in one day then your super lucky u had really good actors and u got the shots u wanted in a single day. keep it up bro

  • Unlike the guy below me I liked the door scene, I thought it was great. I didn't like the girl repetitively fidgeting with her hair in front of the mirror, it seemed really fake as long as it lasted.

  • Could have been perfect if the music were better, that part after the bathroom door slides open where the white noise vanishes for like 3 seconds, and how her arm touched the floor when she was crawling out of the bathroom, and then in the next shot her arm was off the floor. It was pretty good. The dude's killing was SICK! :D Wish the music was better though.

  • Pretty good job dude!

Some criticism: I would have made a longer introduction to build up suspense. Your actress really carried this Short but the pill scene at the door was over the top imo. Lightning could have been better and music was too dramatic for my taste. Btw, could you elaborate a bit on the music you used?

The end was totally predictable of course but it's almost impossible to reinvent the genre. The arm on the floor scene was too stagy.

I will check out your channel.

  • @derunausstehlichekid

This was made for a short film contest. We shot it in one day, with no script and only a 6 minute window for the film. I would have made the beginning longer, if we didn't have only 6 minutes. Also, the music was provided to us by the contest, I fucking hated the music, but had to use it according to the rules. lol Everything could have been better, but I think we did a solid job being that we were rushed and had no script and a $5 budget.

  • @switch1386 i seriously think you did more than just a solid job...i am also a film maker and i really like your style of direction....seriously there was not a single dull moment in it...keep it up !!!

  • @derunausstehlichekid dude you spelt emo wrong there buddy

  • really good for a film made in one day and the actress was great

  • what kind of camera did you use?

great film by the way,the actress was very well believable.

and your directing is very stylish and well build of suspense. kudos:)

  • @rafaelLEE93

Thanks for watching. We used a Panasonic DVX100 with a RNG35 lens adapter w/ a Nikon 50mm prime lens.

  • @rafaelLEE93 Thanks for watching. We used a Panasonic DVX100 with a RNG35 lens adapter w/ a Nikon 50mm prime lens

  • haha the stabbing sounds were brutal, they were so nasty lol. Good Job!!!

  • I have a question. When the guys gets stabbed where did you use the sound effects from?

  • @shadowmoonninja

For the stabs, we blended a bunch of sounds together to create a unique and brutal type of sound. Most people just find a stab sound and lay it on the track. It's better to find a few sounds together to make it feel more visceral. I believe I used a blade stabbing meat, a punch, and a reverse woosh sound to create it

  • wow!!! Awesome. The Directing, the acting, the suspense, the music, the props was superb. Superb job!

Check out the trailer for my new movie "In Love and War"

  • What did you use to capture the sound? Did you use any field audio recorder, boom mic? Thanks =)

  • Hey well done man! I enjoyed watching this short. Just in a day? Impressive. Well done =)) did you dub it in post? Take care

  • @sfedorov

    Thanks man!

The dialogue audio was captured on set. But we did a lot of work with the FX audio in post.

Thanks for watching. don't forget to subscribe ^_^

  • how did you make the stabbing effects? ive been looking all over for tips on creating an on screen stabbing effect that looks real.

  • @zurton Good stabbing effects can be pulled off several ways. When the boyfriend gets stabbed in the gut, we mostly used specific angles and sound fx to sell the stab. But for the stab to the top of the head, we composited a blade entering his skull frame by frame, sort of like photo shop.

But it's mostly the angles and sound fx that sell it.

  • you should of made the stalker more realistic ..you could of made him into some sleazy gritty perverted guy.

  • Wow that was pretty good. I like your style. The one thing that did bother me was the lighting tho. But A+

  • Thanks for the comment!! Yeah, the time we shot it we didn't have that much lighting equipment. I think we only had like 1 fluorescent light. lol But thanks for checking it out!

  • hahahaha! lol! got surprised by the ending =))

  • That was an awesome piece, my friend. Looking forward to seeing more.

  • Thanks!! We got a few more horror short films coming. Keep a look out +_+

  • Very cool!

  • Appreciate it ^_-

  • Nice. "Michael Myers, look out." Feel free to check out my horror piece.

  • It's funny you mention Michael Myers. I was actually thinking of doing a Michael Myers vs. Jason Vorhees short film. lol It might be coming out this October. ^_^

  • that was sweet short horror film

  • Thanks for watching : ]

  • this was awsome!

  • appreciate it : )

  • Pretty good one of the best I saw on youtube.... keep up the good work!!

  • Thanks a lot!!

  • 5:20 u gonna get raped

  • That was actually going to be in there. Her getting raped. But we decided to not shoot that scene. lol

  • Got me jumpin', fun stuff.

  • Awesome little movie. The ending made me jump. Did you win the contest?

  • Thanks for watching. Unfortunately we didn't win. The person that won did a rip off of Quarantine. But we still enjoyed making this film.

  • Aww that sucks. Here yours was much more original. I hate it when someone does a rip off of another movie and then wins. I think that's unfair. But still awesome movie.

  • now that girls bf is dead lol i got a chance

  • Nice.

  • son of a bitch...i jumped outta my seat when he was done ordering that pizza lol!

  • wow! awesome

  • the bit were he jumped out of the room made me jump, theres chicken everywhere now XD

  • ttt

  • Pretty good for a test film but I don't think you know what a stalker is...

  • This was fuckin phenominal it was beautiful. I loved the dudes death scene, and the blood was pouring from his head. THE KILLER WAS GRUESOME!!!!

  • Thanks a lot! More horror shorts on the way. With more brutality and gore!!! lol

  • That was pretty good I wish it was a lil bit longer thoe :)

  • thats great! the best selfmade and short horror movie i seen! very good work. hold on my friend!

5* stars for you and this amazing video!

  • Not bad at all. Short horror films, good ones, are pretty rare.

  • This is really really good

  • You should make it a longer movie.:)

  • We're actually thinking of making a feature film version of STALKER. Depends on if we can find the right story though. lol

  • Nice job...It had a suspenseful kinda effect and the way it had me jumping and him popping in and out of places...Reall Good..Hope you won the CONTEST

  • awesome!

  • This was amazing! Shot in one day? That makes it even better. One question though. Was your music original? I'd like to know who made it, either way.

  • yea i like this cant wait to see more

  • yea i like this cant wait to see more

  • wow that was great

  • like the part where the guy got stabbed

  • great stuff dude.5 stars.

  • OMG!!! U DID THIS IN 1 DAY!!!! WOW!!!

  • I know! Its soooo scary when the guy kills xevas boyfriend!!!!!!!!!!! AGHHHHHH

  • that was great 5/5

  • Yeah. well...

    kinda alot like

    the socalled

    "Haloween"

    Nice. Very nice.

U should concider trying a video contest. U could end up by getting alot of money for stuff like that.

  • BEAUTIFUL

I swear its not all that terrifying wen u first watch it but when u start to think about it....something that exists in your mind but can harm urself and others, that can be anywhere you are...

  • that looked like graped jelly...cooool

  • That was amazing!!!

Every singe second of it, the techniques used everything. I thought this was an actual movie till I read the description.

Very well done my friend! Hope you did well in the Contest :D

    xXSythenXx

  • very nice! like it alot

  • not scary , and that guy looked like a fag i am glad he died.

  • Awesome Job! Liked it alot.

    Matt

    MDR PROD

  • wow, both the actors and you are very perfessional! I like your movies!

  • MORE BELIEVABLE THAN MOST MOVIES !!!

  • very well directed,edited & acted! well done,great job!

  • Oh that was off the chain. It was the best short horror film I've ever seen. The music had me jumping all over the place. 5/5 :)

  • nice movie, try to get more diverse shots though.

  • that was really good my friend, the boyfriend felt protecting himself with his hands... but what am i saying? it was just awesome, 5 start =)

  • I liked this. Pretty darn cool! Good job! Loved the outtake at the end!

  • Laaaaaaaame!... But in an awesome low-buget horror movie kinda way. The kills are great, blood was great, the sound effects were WAY too slimey -- loved it! Great use of the DVX and RNG35. I love from-the-hip afternoon movie making like this. If you have a blooper reel, I'd love to see it! Great work, man!

  • DAMNN!

    I really enjoyed it.

    Great choice of shots.

Lighting worked out for the most part.

And the music and sound fx are KEY in a good horror, which IMO were on time and definitely believable.

Keep it up Bro...love the work

  • I really doubt you shot that all in one day....come on admit it took u awhile...it was good tho and what kind of camera do you have....

  • No really, we shot this whole test film in less than 5 hours. I had it all pre-planned in my head. And I used a Panasonic DVX-100 with a RNG35 Lens Adapter.

  • Very Well Done. Everyone's lines were extremely smooth and very believable. Slick kill shots, and the arm on the floor...KEWL!

But HEY, WHO gave you permission to use MY BED in that near the end shot? (and for you strangers reading this, yes that is MY bed). You could have swept past my Bengals wall of Art as a sort of cameo at least. haha.

    Great Video.

    DAD

  • Very nice film.

  • that was fantastic! Great Job! nice DOF shots too! Did use a 35mm adapter or something else?

  • Ive seen indie horror films with a half million dollar budget that couldnt hold my attention like this. Your actors were actually BELIEVABLE. It is so hard to be scared when you cant relate to the people thanks to bad acting, but these actors were natural.

    credible acting--check

    interesting plot--check

    pro level DP--check

You have all those elements. Great Job. I wanna see more of your work. Were'd you get the actors?

  • Awesome, Can't wait to see this when its done.My little daughter said you are way cool and she wants to work with someone like you.She loves horror movies...lol but her sister was like Omg that scared me.Great Job!!!you really have some awesome video work too .~~~Alexia Maria N family

  • hahaha again and and you are making hits!!! ... wow you really had me covering my eyes there for a minute lol!!! i learned aittle bit!!! i like making these kinda movies 2!!! hahah and it was just a test lol kant wait 2 see more!!! (i like the scary!!! u make)

  • It was good =]

but i would film it when its darker outside.

    The mood is important.

  • I was Brad. We discussed the day time element...we were gonna do certain things to make it appear like night but we wanted to approach it a bit more realistically. The scary aspect of this, which we could indulge in a larger film, is that it is day time. Day time is truly when our homes are most vulnerable because no one is home to protect them. Unlucky for our characters, we were home, and look what it cost us. Night time...you stand a chance if you can rouse yourself from your slumber.

  • OOH! now it makes sense.

    Very well done then.

    Keep it up =]

  • OMG great sound effects, like when he got stabbed how do you do that?????

  • Come on. It was a dream, but then it wasn't. Come on!

    But kudos for head stabbing!

  • That was really good! What camera do you use? Cause I can tell it's a real nice one. What ind of lighting did you use? Haha, good job bro!

  • Very well done! I really liked it! I too am making a horror thriller. However there were some spots I thought needed some work. The part when she is about the open the door I think should have been trimmed a bit, the build up seemed a little slow. The boyfriend murder part was awesome, but I thought the sound effects were a bit over the top. Try recording stabbing a watermelon, it works well!

Also I thought some of the music needed to be scarier. Other than that great job for 5 hours!

  • wow! Great job! Realy liked it!

  • The black dude at the beginning was horrible... didn't feel any emotion coming from him.

Besides that everything else was pretty solid. Little moments when the acting was 'meh', but it was quickly and easily overshadowed by the lead actresses fantastic acting. The gore was pretty nicely done, and the plot was really well founded.

    I give this 9.5/10

I'd want to see this at a film festival, cause you'd win for sure.

  • I was actualy feeling a very strong sense of suspense by the end, great work!

  • Wow, that was great work, better than a lot og the hollywood BS you see.

  • great cinematography and excellent acting (^_^)

  • wow... that was pretty good. Great build up and great score.

  • LOL!! he got stabbed in the head. that was good.
