  • damn... i dont think the diff lock, override, or lowgear all together will help lol

  • this guy dosent know how to get out of a hole your suppose to put the 4x4 on then the diff lock put it on low gear and just back up ass much as u can and just floor it

  • hahahahahaha yeah polaris sucks......check what happend to us!!!!! We had to get our polaris heli'd out of the bush!!!

  • @suzyhalls anything will break when treated wrong

  • they put diff on a them for a reson bum ass

  • polaris deffinately has the best 4x4 i dont care what anybody says

  • ride anything else and you'll change your mind

  • with polaris u dont need to fuck around with any buttons or levers tht could break and the wheels lock with only a 1/5 of a turn which is nothing compared to any other manufacturer

  • @itzvincent329 because its soooo hard to push a button. and you have electronics controlling your 4x4 system as well, i would much rather choose when i want my diff to lock or unlock as well as 4x4

  • untill u get tht button wet nd it dont work or u pull the lever too hard nd it breaks

  • @itzvincent329 your electronics could get wet just as easy

  • polaris might have all wheel drive but they break down. me i rather push a button rather than walk while its broke down or belt came off

  • i agree with unowhtidc4554

  • gotta agree with dant387

  • A differential delivers power to the wheel with the least traction, A limited slip holds/ and can lock both wheels when engaged at a certain rpm to lock the gears in place.

  • wat does the differential lock mean?

  • ok...there's regular limited slip 4x4. only 3 wheels spin cause its limited slip. but diff lock is when yer locking in BOTH front wheels. so all 4 spin.

  • dude. learn how to ride that motherfucker. people like you shouldnt have atv's.

  • lock er up,fuck! lol

  • at the very end he could have made it if he keeped on going

  • idot diff lock loser

  • diff lock ?

  • Put the thing in low gear, diff lock and fuckin floor it!

  • @88bear350 its easy for you to say

  • @88bear350 you must have shit tires man, you do that with some rubber with some bite to em and you'll snap an axle like a toothpick. It's all about throttle modulation, if you start digging in flooring it will just dig you in deeper, instead when you start to lose your momentum, let off the throttle, throw you weight around, and ease back up on the throttle will get you out of any hole where flooring it will just bury you, at least in the kind of mud around here. Dif mud acts differently

  • If you hold your fromt brake a lil' it will give power to both wheels

  • thats for a honda, the grizzly has a diff lock

  • lol i got limited slip diffs on mine :)

  • noob

  • what ever just cause mine dont get stuck

  • dont fuckin call me an dumb ass you prick, it says in the fuckin owners manual that it has limited slip differentials so piss off and do your reaserch before you start insulting people

  • limited slip and differentials are two completely different things. its like regular spider gears and posi-trac. limited slip is like spider gears. only 1 wheel outta 2 is spinning. differentials are like posi-trac. 2 outta 2 spin. thats why there's 4x4 and 4x4 LOCKED. its LOCKING IN BOTH FRONT WHEELS.

  • i know what limited slip does i was just refering to what i have in place of the diffs

  • what?

  • oh what ever i know what i mean and tbh i dont really care what anyone else thinks i mean

  • whatever man. just tryin to clear things up.

  • You are stupid. A limited slip is a TYPE of differential. On a limited slip, the differential trys to limit slip, so if one wheel starts to spin, it will transfer power to the other wheel (posi-trac). An open differential is exactly as it sounds..open. If one wheel has no traction it will just keep spinning. And then there is a locking differential, where you can lock the diff and both wheels will spin at the exact same speed, no matter what you drive over.

  • @unowhtidc4554 Damn dude, finally somebody who knows what they're talking about.

  • @unowhtidc4554 i think the limited slip has nothing to do with de differential , the limited slip is the brake that aplies to the wheel that is losing traction well in cars i do know in atvs and quads

  • @edgrano Actually no, you are wrong. Limited slip is 100% in the differential. Using the brakes to help get power to both sides of the axle does help, but that is not limited slip. The have had limited slip diffs out long before anti-lock brakes.

  • @edgrano Limited slip is a TYPE of differential..like I said earlier. Look it up. The system you're thinking of is called Traction Control. TC applies the brake to the wheel that is slipping, which then sends power to the other wheel. A limited slip (posi) differential senses wheel slip in one wheel and then slowly applies power to the other wheel until traction is regained.

  • @dant387 that's actually wrong. posi-trac is just another name for limited slip.

  • @dant387 sup, dude? remember me? of course you don't. you and i have never spoken. but, i want to inform you that YOU HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!

  • oh yeah..more power is going to solve it.....stupid shit...sombody needs to learn you some english

  • lol the important thing is to have man! i do the same stuff with my Foreman :P
