I actually have three of these engines. One is in my work van. The second pickup I bought for $400 because the previous owner didn't know about relocating the PMD, he couldn't keep it running. I have an Isuzu engine in a flatbed and that truck is great, it out tows my pickups.
@JohnFromSpace duramax's are only so expensive cuz all the dumb electronics haha but id own a 6.6 any day haha then a 6.5 for weekend toy i love the sound of the 6.5s
ouch they sound great but i don't take mine past 3 grand especially when its cold, but what do i know

@kaiiknu Shitty Chevy electricals. My dad's 6.0 Silverado has the guage cluster replaced. And the new one is working better(so far).

I would by another one myself. If I were to get another one I would get a dually and do dual stacks instead of 1 =)
I like Duramax's but they seem expensive to maintain if something breaks.
