  • This is fantastic!

  • Cool video!

  • Song?

  • Love your video could you make more

Like of the arduino mega, nano, mini ect...

  • Really cool video, I love the creativity and the humor. All learning should be as fun as this! Good job! =D

  • Cool video!

  • Love everything except the music!

  • minecraft?

  • sketchup?

  • Well done! Love the added tinge of humour ;)

  • Hello...

Your work is cool...Did you use CATIA? or what kind of software did you use for CAD?...Can you simulate the behaviour virtualy?

  • Cool! That was cute and fun! I'm so excited to get my Experimentation Kit from ada***** (u know who, don't want 2 violate any vendor/supplier TOS). Ever since I heard about Arduino in a MAKE(*they really try n sell the crap outa these things, huh*) I have been passionately researching it. Watching the Dave King's, Hardware hacking for Software Guys - DEFCON 18; Video, I have been determined to acquire a kit to start learning. I believe Arduino's ever present internet fan-base=best selling point!

  • Very nicely done. Good voice and great idea. Thanks!

  • That atmega chip there is the microcontroller, not a microprocessor. Microcontrollers have the processor inside with ram, rom, I/O pre

pherials. Mircoprocessor alone can't really do anything interesting, if there is no memory to hold the insctructions for it, let alone ways of interfacing other equipment. Those other components on arduino board are for power regulation, usb interface etc, microcontrollers I/O is straightly connected to headers. Hate that when people spread misunderstanding.

  • @gemis94 Thanks for your input, but this one is open to debate. I discuss the issue in an update to the video description.

  • @engineerzerochannel This is not open to debate, the ATMega chip is commercially listed with its ram and all the other bits. It would not be able to function otherwise.

  • @engineerzerochannel If you take your statement and apply it to another field, you get "It is open to debate whether or not a car is a steering wheel". Just like the uC consisting of ram, rom, cpu, and so on, the car consists of wheels, windows, chassis, steering wheel, and son on. In other words: just because A is a subset of B that doesn't mean, B is A.

  • this one was good :)

  • The "six golden prongs" is the hardware programing port. Are there really shields that connect to that? For what purpose? Shields connect to the outer 'streets' you like to call the headers.

  • @madsci1016 You are right. Someone else informed me of the same thing and I'm going to either annotate or redo the narration. It depends how Youtube will let me revise the video. Thanks for your input, and considering how the hit count is going up, I'd better get the fix in fast!

  • @engineerzerochannel Ok, Just wanted to make sure i wasn't crazy. Good work by the way.

  • Great and original description of the Arduino ;)

    Keep going ;)

  • Great and original description of the Arduino ;)

    Keep going ;)

  • Thanks for making this. I love the humor in it. I hope we see more!

  • @mrichardson23 Thanks, Matt. I saw your video on makezine. Very impressive.

  • Hey engineerzero

very nice work! I like it!

    Massimo from the Arduino Team

  • @arduinoteam Thank you very much. Good to hear from you!

  • I thought it was nicely done and enjoyed the touch of humor, keep making videos and ignore the hater.

  • A real bad voice and the music mix sucks. Your effort is appreciated but the video fails to evoke any interest.

  • @utube2post Well, at least the dog likes me. Or is it the pork chop around my neck?

  • @utube2post It's easy to insult anonymously while hiding behind keyboards and screens. Lets see your amazing work.......oh that's right there is none.

  • @kiwifrogg Your assumption that every commenter should be an accomplished electronics genius is naive (besides, isn't this video for beginners anyway?). I don't intend personal insults. What I wrote was my honest opinion on the video - he can take it or chose to ignore. Negative feedbacks are as valuable as positive ones.

  • @utube2post I do appreciate criticism (well, sometimes). As for my vocal talents, if you don't like listening to people who sound like Stephen King channeling Kermit the Frog, you'd best go elsewhere until I can afford to hire a professional. I was once told that I look like Stephen King too. Kermit the Frog, not so much.

  • @utube2post At what point in my reply do I assume your level of electronic understanding? . How does your original comment convey a beginners lack of understanding?. Your reply simply mocked the hosts voice, complained about his music choice. then conveyed your boredom while watching said video. I was simply pointing out the fact that your video résumé is non existent, then I kindly suggest that you removed the log from your own eye before remove the speck from engineerzero's.
