I'm sorry everyone knows that you don't put sand in clay soil! it makes very hard dirt you put Gypsum, Iron sulfate and compost or just lots of compost. If you don't believe me.... ask your local state AG office or any real farmers not sidewalk farmers that looks cool on TV... but know nothing I'm not trying to be rude but you just made a lot of people very sad bye telling them to put sand with clay you should take this down!
He is doing it specifically for lavender. I'm no expert, but some if the healthiest lavender I've seen was in sandy soil near a beach.
