Your videos title is misleading. Those depicted in the video confiscating firearms ARE NOT US Troops those are New Orleans SWAT. The national guard DID NOT confiscate any firearms only the swat officers did and they did so without authorization or supervision. The video itself is also poorly edited to the point that they try to play that the national guard troops were doing the same. Most of the officers found to have confiscated any firearms were fired.

Your videos title is misleading. Those depicted in the video confiscating firearms ARE NOT US Troops those are New Orleans SWAT. The national guard DID NOT confiscate any firearms only the swat officers did and they did so without authorization or supervision. The video itself is also poorly edited to the point that they try to play that the national guard troops were doing the same. Most of the officers found to have confiscated any firearms were fired.

The NRA sued the city of New Orleans and won. The court found that the city had to give back the weapons...only one small problem. The person had to provide the serial numbers to get them back. No they weren't trying to evacuate. They thought it was more important to catch looters then helping the people in the first place.
