Hey the phrasing and musicality of these bending licks & runs seems very translatable to rock and pop music styles (well if you listen to Elvis it shows that Rock and Roll was very much derived from Country as well as Blues.)
I will follow up on this, so amazed with the tone of the Tele I picked up last week.
Hey everyone, check out the new article and review about K-Line Guitars in Tone Quest Report ! K-line is a St. Louis based builder who made the tele I'm playing in this video!
@eurekastreetbuskers I prefer a wound 3rd as it happens. Couldn't get on with plain steels after playing for a few years acoustically. The tone change seemed too abrupt to me. Are you of the same mind? This guys' 3rd looks a bit on the shiny side to be coiled.
Thank You for this. I have so often heard this lick but never quite got it into a clean progression. I will practice and see what other generous gifts you have granted to one and all. Regards Pat.
Ya! Nice vid! I'm actually a keyboard player with a knowledge of the guitar fretboard looking for insight into guitar-style licks. I'll subscribe. Keep 'em comin!!

I've seen a lot of great country guitarists on youtube, but not a lot of great teachers. I'm happy to say, this guy is both!
