@marcolaria Hey - this is in Boise, Idaho USA.... it is considered the high dessert. If you go a little higher you'll get into the trees and bigger mountains but at this altitude there isn't enough rain/snow for lots of vegetation.
I LOVE this video. Seriously, I've watched this most days this past week. Had to hit the tune up because of this. Makes me jealous as hell seeing the riding you got there. I've gotta get me some of that so saving up for Idaho!!
awesome video man! i mainly road bike/race, but this looks awesome! the other guy was wondering where the trees were at. haha, at least you didn't have to dodge any here. man, i love the northwest!
was the camera mounted on your helmet? what kind is it? thanks.
@cefdad Who is Erik? This was filmed in the 4-5k foot range. There isn't enough precepitation here for trees - we get about as much rain a year as NC gets a month. The tree line starts at around 5500 feet and ends again at about 8000 feet or so, depending on where you are.
@eckca Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you Lance. We have rain, tress,O2, and BoJangles in NC - why would anybody want to live in Idaho? LOL!! Be good.
Yo - go up Bogus Basin road for about 3 miles from the intersection of Hill. Then get on the dirt single track "Corrals". Follow this for about a mile or so. Soon after the gate, look for a left hand turn where you'll see another gate. That's Hard guy! I'd wait a little longer for the snow to melt and trails to dry up. It's one of my favorites! Have fun!
