  • long pole

  • The presence of a Legend. Those brief seconds still gave me the chills.

  • Well its a staff..but lets not quibble...

  • thank you

  • 什麼東西

  • I just like the name of this, "Yip Man With a Stick". Says it all....

  • He killed Chuck Norris with that stick just now.

  • He rcorded it himself- that was how he shut off the camera.

  • its a life changing experience.

  • Don't fuck with a kung fu master with a stick in hand.

  • the man himself

  • good thing chuck norris avoided it

  • LOL he's like *Get away bitch**

  • Must take years of practice to perform that move.

  • @WHATYOUSAYWHITEBOY It takes 5 seconds to perform but 10 years to understand.

  • @legitfreek Understand... what? I'm not trying to be rude/disrespectful

  • @legitfreek Well said.

  • If they had HD camera's back then. This would be a different world. In terms of kung fu, we might have a whole population knowing wing chun and all the other systems of kung fu. xD

  • i want to learn WING CHUN. I EVEN BOUGHT A WOODEN MAN, I JUST NEED TO LEARN MORE of wing chun

  • @TheRasengan479 Watch 138mws

  • @hansen99x Nah, Mister Wong has a very modified Wing Chun. So look up other styles too and then decide which one you prefer.

  • I want the wood people as my train at the right hand side ,i need it to train Weng Chun

  • @ILUVWGG good luck they cost on average at least 600 dollars for a good deal

  • what/! this was only 5 seconds >:O

  • Fut Shan Yip man Wing Chun is being carried on by the Master Ho Kam Ming lineage, his longest time student.Thxs for sharing the video!

  • It is a six point half pole, it is very long

  • wow it is lol.?

  • Been reading about Yip Man in martial arts book From Lee to Li. Real legend.

  • a gallon and a half of dihyydrogen monooxide everyday

  • Solid power behind the thrust, impressive for a man his age, he must have had epic strength in his forearms and wrists even then

  • True...

    ...I heard he was a tight-fisted wanker!

  • this kwan thrust is for real. i have heard that Moy Yat- a student of Yip Man's would thrust it through a cinder block wall.

lean the kwan form and any pole is deadly.

  • i can do that :)

  • hahaha oh children

  • how do you pronounce yip man?

  • yip-man. its the phonetical translation.

  • that move he just did with the stick killed the camera man and half the village

  • lol

  • i'll drink one for the cameraman lol

  • @Retardidid

    ROFL!!

  • Well that video delivered what it promised...

  • i'll drink to that lol

  • you drink a lot dont you?

  • 詠春-三套拳'一百零八個木人樁'六點半棍法和八斬刀.

  • You can see that Great Grand Master Yip Man was very sick when these films were made.I believe he passed away soon after from cancer.RIP.

  • stick!?!?

  • Dragon Staff.

  • The correct name for the "stick" is a kwan not a staff and def not a typy of dragon lol.

  • That was awesome.Nice post!!!

  • DeidengI wouldn't say hes nothing against him, Bruce Lee Is Phenomenal but he likely would have been nothing or not as phenomenal had he not met him

  • Yip Man is the best Kung-Fu fighter ever Bruce Lee is nothing against him!!!

  • istar1000 You are completely ignorant in saying Bruce lee was a fake. You need to educate yourself.

  • bruce lee was not fake, anyone can concede this, was he the best? probably not, was he a great fighter, probably so, would he have grown to develop his system past what it is today had he survived? VERY LIKELY

  • All i know is Bruce Lee can easily kick your ass and knock your teeth out of your big mouth...then we dont care if he was the best.

  • you fail... gtfo

  • dumb ass this is the master of bruce lee, he teached bruce lee wing chun...

  • Unless your Sifu was WSL or your Sifu was trained and a disciple of WSL, then how do you know? Bruce Lee actually learned what wing chun is suppose to teach its practitioners, and that is to be free from technique. Something WC people just dont get.

  • true wing chun will allow you to express yourself on a personal level and allow you to be "free from technique" but without the foundation and framework of wing chun, you have a lot of useless movement with no structure which is why modern JKD is turning into chinese flavored mma.

  • Technically you dont need to be Bruce Lee's sifu to know what he finished in Wing Chun. His Sehings and Sidais would also know as well. (Would you be able to learn entire forms in your Kung Fu school without your brothers knowing?)

  • Im sure yip man knew to be free from technique as it is clear in the biu jee form. =~)

  • @celeblin I don't wanna sound like a smartass, but they spell it Wing-Tsun.

  • @fourperson "Wing Tsun" is different to "Wing Chun".

  • @fourperson Nearly every school spells it their own way. So I learned Wing-Tsung, others Ving-Tsung; Wing-Chun; Ving-Tsun etc. And if you go out and watch, every school makes it a little bit different.

  • who is yours sifu's sigong (sifu's sifu)

  • ma que bela bosta ein...

  • the full footage of Yip Man preforming the higher forms will probably never be publicly released

  • I am happy to find some old Yip Man 8mm film on you tube. thanks folks. I wish someone put Leung sheung films on web. I also like to see Ken Chung's wing chun here.

  • Who's your sifu? I think our lineage is very close.

  • The whole pole and knife forms are out there somewhere. Probably Yip Chun and Yip Ching have them. I hear that Leung Ting also owns copies of all the footage.

  • I heard he bought the copyright and suppresses the videos. I've also seen several of Yip Mans form videos being taken down due to copyright claims in "Great Grandmaster Leung Ting"s name.

  • From what I understand, they were his for 10 years, but were given back to the Ip Family. To my knowledge, the original films were given to Ip Ching's family originally after they were filmed.

  • wow, that's cool
