My younger brother has aspergers and this was like watching a home video... (check out an anatomy video he made years ago...i don't even know what half the bones he says are and im 25 ) I think its a very interesting syndrome, and believer there are unforeseen 'benefits'- like photographic memory. since you asked how you can improove your act: try making slightly longer jokes, the ones you made so far are good for a smile, and if you want the audience to roll on the floor, make some references to situations you've been in, that gives a joke a bit more kick when you can relate it to you (the joke teller), it doesn't have to be true, just credible enough :)

Ok of course an 8 year old is going to forget lines sometimes, however his kid is not autistic. However telling him that he is different is something he will play on in order to get attention and this will pro-long his growing up.
He is a happy well looked after kid, who like most kids has issues with learning, its an easy fix. However telling him that he`s different is a bad idea. There is no autism here

People like you do not deserve to have an opinion because you assume that Aspberger's is a state of mind, and not a syndrome. Having AS myself, I have NEVER used it to get attention or to tell people I am special because I know I am no different than most others except when it comes to socializing. I am 29 and still get lost in thought if I speak faster than what I am thinking of saying. Talk to his parents before judging the kid.

nice, good to see that someone who's 8 can get through Asperger', it's heartwarming to see that your dad helps you with it.
since you asked how you can improove your act: try making slightly longer jokes, the ones you made so far are good for a smile, and if you want the audience to roll on the floor, make some references to situations you've been in, that gives a joke a bit more kick when you can relate it to you (the joke teller), it doesn't have to be true, just credible enough :)

@Zralf I feel proud of this kid, it shows you anyone can accomplish anything if they try hard enough. I was at his point one time but ever since Wal-Mart I cannot work in retail anymore and cannot face horrible bosses that don't know how to treat an Aspie nor their other employees, I will never work for that company again, not with the nightmares I have to live with the rest of my life.

@Zralf Who knows Haydens autism might actually inform his talents and shape his persona in a way that makes him shine as a comedian and a person. Autism isn't just a bunch of disabilities, it also bring its specific a-bilities.
I'll be a beautiful day when autistic people and neurotypical people can contribute their talents to the world without discrediting the other; and helping where nescesary. I know some autistics tend to jab at social skills, but those are not without importance either.

(applauds) Continue fooling around with the editing, experiment with increasing pauses after questions & answers, maybe also play with sound-effects/foley - which might be a fun way to create more comedic suspense/drama. Explore YouTube "memes" & look at other people's work you find funny - you might find pools of inspiration for content creation & editing techniques there as well. HTH.
