they seriously shouldnt have made the game like this. All they had to do was use boards only for that bird faggot, and sonic and shadow and tails could either run or skate, or tails could use his tails to hover over the ground like he did on sonic adventure. And there is your sonic racing game.

Apparently, I heard that Fly types can have the cheapest shortcuts. Like the one in the beginning of this course. Very good though. ^^

@SonicWolvelina99 it really depends on the stage actually. You are right that Flying has the advantage here. If you cna manage to hit that ring at the end using gravity dive, it's faster than the power short cut.

From personal research (can be debated):

Megalo station, Both Aquatic stages, Astral Babylon - Speed

Night side Rush, Meteotech Premisis, Crimsom Crater, 80's Boulevard - Power

Both kingdoms, both Gigans, Security Corridor, Meteotech Sparkworks - Flying

90's B I don't know though.

Vision Trap - Will cause anybody who hits it to get an annoying, seizure-riffic paint splat in their screen for five or so seconds

Parts Lock - Nulls all gear changes and any upgrades minus Grind Board, Skates, Air Ride, Bike, Wheel, and Yacht for 5 or so seconds

Status Trap - Delays victim by 3-5 seconds, victim has to re-accelerate after being released

Haha, yeah.. I always put it on like 5 laps, since you can burn through the courses pretty easily. I even once did a 99 lap race with Knuckles at the Sand Ruins. I did it in like 1 hour and 40 minutes without stopping.
