Every time I hear this song, I get goosebumps. Queen Latifah sings beautifully and the subject is beautiful too. Less than fifty years ago, the law in America said that black people were less important than other people. Now they even have a black president. Unfortunately, there are still people who discriminate, but it is our job to change that.

I've only seen this movie once but this song and protest have stuck in my head ever since. I think this says alot about segragation and what it must have been like for them back before Martin Luther King Jr. came along to free them from the segragation.
