  • One of my favorite Black Crowes songs. I love the whole album. There's something about Chris wearing that outfit though that seems to diminish the song. I would have liked to see him standing there in a Led Zeppelin T shirt belting this song out.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE THE BLACK CROWES! ALWAYS HAVE!

  • Ive always ADORED The Crowes..!!! They are immaculate musicians...with more groove than should be legal..!!

Cant help but hear "Jealous Again" in this one....!!!

  • Rod Stewart &The Faces part 2

  • soy daniela de argentina y amo esta cancion vivo en...

  • *** Attention UK Fans*** Luther from The Black Crowes Will be playing with North Mississippi Allstars at the world famous Dingwalls, Camden, London.

  • doesnt this remind you of tumbling dice by the stones? awesome!

  • Awesome!!

  • Soooo amazing song !!!! But such a bad videoclip...

  • this song kicks so much ass!!!

  • Quintessential C.R. at 1:23

This pimper's paradise outfit was on display at the Hard Rock Casino in Vegas for sometime. I wanted to bust the glass case and take it home! :)

    Rock on Croweheads!

  • the Black Crowes have soul but i say the Chili Peppers got the funk. Both awsonme bands

  • This song just screams Faces. Fucking brilliant, I love it.

  • MS. JUDY! SHE WAS MOODY!

  • Well, like my father said to me once, several years ago:"Stay away from high places!"

  • Sounds like "Crazy Mama" by... the Stones...

  • The Black Crowes will be The Rolling Stones of this generation. No matter how long they're out there they will still keep on funkin' to their jams. But the Stones are still rockin', so what does that mean?

  • Chris is the funkiest white man on the planet.

I was 17 when Shake Your Money Maker was

released, and they've just gotten better with age!

  • Surely the funkiest white man must be Steve Marriott.

    Humble Pie's:

    Road Runner

    30 Days In The Hole

    Hot 'n' Nasty

    etc.

The Gov'nor of boogie/soul/funk&blues - Chris would agree on that I'm certain.

    any disagreement?

  • No disagreement. Surely, he was. And I'm sure Chris would agree too. But unfortunately good old beautiful Marriott ain't with us no more. So therefore the Gov'nor is a good candidate.

  • lol the 'The Gov'nor of boogie/soul/funk&blues' was a reference to Steve actually

but yeah he's not with us any more so Chris may be a good candidate :)

  • tumblin´ dice meets crazy mama - but still great & fresh!!

  • You said it.

  • Wow I've never heard this one before, wicked. It sounds so much like early Small Faces/Rod Stewart. Sure makes the work day easier!

  • on the album "lost crows", this song is on there. except its called "if it ever stops raining" and the chorus is different.

  • BYS is a brilliant album,i think it is truly overlooked. The Crowes "Cocaine Period"

Im even digging the "Evangelical Pimp" look.

Every album is a killer, they never let you down.Cant wait til 01/09/09

May Heckle n Jeckle crow for a long time yet.

  • AWESOME!

  • rock n roll you troll :D

  • I saw them 15 years ago,i`ll never forget Chris and the rest of the band.Your voice gave me the rest,Chris!Keep on rockin` guys, you are too good to stop it!I´ll be by your side,Peace and freedom for all!

  • awesome song!

  • i wanna dance with the lead singer now XD

  • Great song! :)

  • Chris is the hippie pimp to beat them all... pimp on, the posers can't touch the Black Crowes.

  • @ReverendEd330

    Amen

  • *sigh* Again, Brilliant song, amazing album (my favorite) and somebody should shoot the fashion designer. Feathers and white frills? Please just let them dress themselves. The Soul Singing and Blackberry videos are far less demeaning.

  • I saw them live 2 years ago. One of the best concerts you could hope to see. Everyone was crap faced up front and screaming the words to eachother.

  • Not into videos but this reminds me of Aerosmith's Pink. Bit out of the game as regards the Crowes but this ain't the best of them.

  • The best ever

  • Flawless, Peerless R&R baby !!!!! Crowes rule.

  • does anyone else think that this video shows a different band? That does not look like either Chris OR Rich.... and the video is either extremely laggy or they are lip synching a different song.

  • he looks wierd without his beard!

  • Him and the singer of Janes Addiction dressed the same even the pimp feather hat -you can check it in song by JA on utube ORIGINAL . video -song by Jane's addiction-WHORES

  • Chris the hippie pimp?

  • this whole album was awesome

i dont care much for three snakes one charm

this blows it out of the water

  • thank you, thank you! loved everything about this video, glad to have seen it, beautiful song & it was a wonderful album also ;)

  • They are the best. War Paint was weak in my mind. Southern Harmony, Lions, BYS, are great. Cypress Tree is the best ever song. More like the Original Faces with Steve Marriot(sp) the greatest British singer of all time.

  • i dont know any other band that could dress like complete douchebags and make it cool lol, these guys kick ass (:

  • motley crue, the rolling stones, led zepplin, the darkness, aerosmith, queen, any glam band, all of whom kick ass! :)

  • are you kidding? i wear that to the dmv.

  • Loved that album...hate all the flack it gets. Really cool video

  • I totally agree, this record was fantastic. This song, "Only a Fool", 'Horsehead", "Then She said My Name", and every other tune was fucking killer

  • I didn't know this song! But I knew a Black crowes' song with this melody called "If it ever stops raining". Do they have two songs with the same melody???

  • Yeah, they're the same song. It's just the chorus that's different. I think "If It Ever Stops Raining" was scrapped, but is on the Lost Crowes album.

  • what are you talking about, I love fricken love "By your Side" it's one of my favorite albums, Snakes, BYS, and Lions were the best three albums in my opinion

  • my faves: Amorica, Warpaint, Southern Harmony,3snakes... the way I see it, BYS and Lions were a confused time for them... after some far out, non commercial albums (amorica, snakes) they tried to do a few more radio-friendly records... Its just not my bag. I have seen them on amost every tour but stopped after seeing them on BYS tour... it just didn't seem real. Then Marc came back and they got it back together. Again... my opinion. Warpaint is great though.

  • yeah warpaint is sick, but Lions is my favorite. But BYS is great in my mind, Welcome to the Goodtimes and "BYS" both songs kind of helped me when I wasn't such a happy person. But I love all there albums really, I haven't listened to a bad Crowes album yet. But with Lions, Soul singing and Midnight are amazing, and I like the flow of the album too.

  • I'm with ya there, this song got me through a lot of bad personal shit. Especially the part at the end on the actual record version that's cut out from the video edit, where Chris goes "I'ma be right there for you baby!" and Rich busts into the great ending solo. That shit gives me lifts up every time I hear it

  • music can do that shit allehluia brother

  • It's just an evolution of the band i think..but is true that after Amorica they where getting a bit low although Three Snakes,By your side and Lions where great,Warpaint is amazing after a couple of hears...best album since Amorica...

  • DAMN!!!STONEY!!!TONE AND TASTE @ 2:33... GOD BLESS these bastards!!!AWESOME STR8UP!!!

  • insuperables, gran esencia la de estos rockeros , siempre me han emocionado, buenas vibraciones...!!!!!!!!!!

  • Still rockin' on ... clearly, the dog's bollocks!!

  • voice of Rod Stewart and performance of Mick Jagger....Crowes had the misfortune to be at their peak during an era that did not appreciate their style of music....GREAT band

  • Poor old Rod was ok but could never be compared to yhese guys and although Mick was a genuine star, he hasn't really done anything great in the last 25 years. The Stones have got by on playing their big hits. The Crowes just keep churning it out full tilt. I liked their first album the best, but I think yhey are a better live band than in the recording studio. Just my opinion, Its not carved in stone LOL.

  • ive never heard music sounding as good as this coming from within the last couple of years.

  • Amo questa canzone, non mi stanca mai! Il video poi è grandioso!

  • cool, black crowes never die le mousqet

  • Comment removed

  • Gypsy Bro

this for you I feel like this alot

  • I like koala bears.

  • so do i,but i like black crowes better!

  • amazing band, thts all i can say

  • and they still r after all these years still have awesome music

  • I think they are before their time

  • I think the exact opposite. If they were around in the 70's, they'd be as big as Zeppelin.

  • yea i totally agree

  • it dont matter how big they r, they just do it, cos they luv doing it. thats cool enough, but they also perform amazingly well live

  • Guitar hero anybody? Just watch it comes right at you!

  • all their blues rock is cool but they should have done a few more heavier songs.

  • they are true rock stars they do the music THEY want not what they think other ppl want, i heard chri say in the early 90's that if no1 liked their records he would make them neway 4 the love of the music, thats rock 'n' roll, my friend

  • This is it!!!

  • i love this song and i love the crowes. but i think they were wrong to fuck ford like they did. i mean..drug use?! r u kiddin' my ass here?! chris can throw a contact-high off-on india! so there must have been other stuff involved. personality conflicts. i love the lil' brother tooo much..but he can act like a specified control-freak sometimes. i dunno. call ford back. godbless us all. and frogs.

  • someday I read that he made this song just cause discography need a single ¿true or false?

  • false. this song was made for a previous album, with a different title and chorus.

  • I never realized before but Chris Robinson sings like a younger, better voiced Rod Stewart. I'd love to hear them do Miss Judy's Farm. ROCKFUCKINGROLL!!!

  • they R heavily influenced by the Faces ( rod steward ) , so not unsurprising

  • love the song too! the vid is ok.. just a great period in time for me..

  • bad vid..

    great song..
