Serious Sam has some great '' one liners '' like the '' I'm over here, you stupid headless freaks '' bit at 2:36.

Throughout the whole game his one liners are brilliant, it really makes the game i think.

@ArchevequeTurpin The idea of the game was to do something like Duke Nukem. Thats why Sam looked in the beggining like Duke with black hair. but I think Serious Sam more epic then the others

@Stephen9233 , At a guess ................ yes, this game works fine on my Vista 64x bit computer without one single problem so it should work on windows 7.

Also this game (the none HD version) is cheap anyway, it cost me £5 brand new about 5 years ago so your hardest issue will be finding the game.

@guitar941 , Its a outstanding game full of hidden places, secret weapons, secret doors, booby traps and many more, but be be prepared to get swamped by every man eating monster on the planet, that's what makes this game so fun.

You are often locked in a large room where the monsters just keep on coming in swarms until you have killed every last one.

Most rooms are about 20 - 30 times as big as seen in the video, others are smaller, some are tinny, its beginning to end fun.

@sy9593 , Its a very good game with lots of monsters and stuff to kill , you normally get totally '' swamped '' with bad guys , you normally get locked in a room ( sometimes big , sometimes small ) and you will sometimes have to kill hunderds of monsters before the door opens its such a laugh.

Also there is loads of hidden rooms that sometimes can be actavited by doing something you don't know you did and also hidden weapons too.

This game is alot like Doom from the 1990's on the PS1.

@sy9593 , No , there is hidden weapons to find in secret rooms but i believe you get the same weapons in gold edition as you do in normal edition.

However , there is now a serious sam glod HD , its just the same as this one with the same levels but it has been digitally remastered in HD so it has better graphics , but i tried to get a hold of this yesterday and could not find a disk copy of it anywhere however you can download it from steam or game.co.uk

1. bug of dual core support, try to dl support from microsoft. or disable one core during game.

2.your graphic card sux

3. your graphic card driver outdated, or the driver is bad.

4.directx currupt installation

5.virus/malware

6.your os is x64, which you'd need debug option

7.hardware conflict(often happan in agp/pci)

8.game data currupt or hard drive failure.

9. antivirus been faulty, try to turn it off or use game booster to minimize it.

10. system memory is not enough.
