  • there was close to no mixing between the spanish and the arabs during the occupation. The Spanish preserved their european genes by being separatists during the arab occupation, race mixing was vastly frowned upon. Now of course, there is plenty of arab influence in the spanish culture, not least its music.

  • respect from italy

  • @SHADDAD8 ok first of all, FUCK BARCELONA hehe XD its true i support Madrid. second, check out my new video you gave me such a great idea! thank u!!

  • @SHADDAD8 but before the arabs came to spain, the germanics went to spain so the real roots are from europe! BUT i Love arabian cultures and stuff like this cuz im From Andalucía, which was also called Al-Andalus and there is so many islamic buildings and food and dances and styles from arabia in Andalusia so I honor everything we got!

  • @SHADDAD8 sorry but España does not belong to zou, neither does mz beautiful Andalusia (Al-Andalus) ! ! ! -_-

  • I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG FOR 2 YEARS!!! THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH!! THIS JUST MADE MY DAY!!

  • Arab countries are like Latin ... Northern ones are lighter and thicker like Cubans ... Gulf and Saudis are darker n sexier like brazilians

  • @SHADDAD8 Shut the fuck up you stupid whabbi troll!!!!!!!!!.

  • Nice song but they are much better pictures of Greece than this

  • Sometimes i wish i was 100% greek, being from pontos and not speaking the language sucks.

  • @fbfenerbahce1907 ...I´m NOT from Palastina, and VIVA music...

  • Comment removed

  • @BobsArtGallery There is nothing wrong about being Palestinian my friend even if you are not :)

  • @minimum13 Sure...One of my best friends is Palestinian.

  • @fbfenerbahce1907 - Typical racist comments from yet another uneducated Turk...thank you for showing the world how small minded you and your people are. IT's because of people like you that there is no peace in the world, well done...

  • @fbfenerbahce1907 FUCK TURKEY! FUCKING BASTARDS EVERYONE HATES YOU

  • I am Palestinian Arab but Originally from Crete, although I have never been to Greece nor i speal Greek, I love Greek music so much and can sing greek songs even without understanding their meanings but it could be the human feelings that connects us all. Viva Greece Viva Palestine.

  • iam a levantine arab and we are very close to greeks as they are close to us,from food to culture to even looks...beautiful music that i can relate to easily!

  • @ihatekhaleejis

yeah if ur levantine arab and not muslim.

muslim levantine arabs are not similar to greeks because they are descendants of primitive desert arabs and some phoenicians that they raped.

  • @Tomacomo iam a muslim levantine and trust me i love greeks more than the stinky desert arabs(khaleejis)

  • @Tomacomo iam proud of my levantine heritage and i fuckin hate saudis to the bone ...LONG LIVE GREECE

  • @Tomacomo btw iam not a descendant of the desert freaks...phoenicians,canaanites,philistines,assyrians,babylonians..love them all..saudi=shit

  • @Tomacomo Where did you get your information from??do you know that phienicians orginated in the same pleace as arabs orginated???phoenicians are similar to arabs. On top of that lebanese christians and other northern arab christians have arab blood in their dna. Many of them are ARAb christians. As for arabs, lol, you have the wrong idea.Arabs didnt orginate in the desert. Please learn some history.Your people orginated from us,so learn before speaking.

  • @Arabchick21

lolmao, khalijis today are what the arabs were like 2000 years ago. dark and smelly and ugly. they invaded and raped syria and egypt and iraq which were centers of civilization, when these places were weak. each of these places had their own language and culture and ancient history before desert arab savages rode in. with morocco and north africa, it is even worse since it is not even semitic and very different from arab culture/language, so more was destroyed.

  • @Tomacomo First of all i am not a khaliji for your information. And i have seen kahliji people and some of them are light skin.

  • @Tomacomo By the way arabs are a minority or about to be a minority in the khaliji regions. You have indians, pakistanis, africans, and other immiagrants who all toghther probably make up a majority in the gulf regions. So dont confuse those people as arabs when they are not.

  • @Tomacomo Ummm...i am an iraqi :) and i have studied my history and other middle eastern history.Guess what???arabs actually orginated in iraq and then moved out to the arabian peninusla and moved to the gulf regions. There are two kinds of arabs, you have arabs who have natrually tan skin and arabs who have pale skin. Both are orginal arabs.Iraq is a home to all kinds of semitic people and other types of people. Many ethnic groups orginated in iraq and moved out.

  • @Tomacomo I am aware of iraq and other places having their own languages. But guess what??they were all semitic languages before adopting the arabic semitic language.Umm.....look at your comments, you writing crap that the zionist media feeds you.Arabs didnt kill nor harmed the people in those countries. In fact arabs were only a small group of people and took over the northern arab countries.

  • @Tomacomo Umm....if it wasnt arabs, north africa wouldnt be what it is today (rich in culture). And today north africans are both semitic and non semitic. Many north africans have arab blood and some dont.Same with many middle eastern countries. Its funny a greek is talking out of his or her ass.

  • I am Greek American, but lived in the Middle East for many years. There is very little difference between our food, customs, mannerisms, hospitality, music, etc. I love the Arab people and feel most comfortable with them.

  • @johnafilis You wouldnt be so suprised if i ever told you that many europeans orginated in the middle east?? even from dna studies many northern middle eastern people (arabs and non arabs) and europeans share a very similar genetic makeup.Plus many middle eastern ethnic groups took over europe at one point in history.Same with some european groups. So we have so much shared history.

  • @johnafilis Espically you greeks have alot of similarities with northern middle eastern people like syrians, lebanese, some iraqis, and non arab middle eastern people like iranians and turks. And same goes with arabs and other middle eastern groups, many of us also feel very comfortable around greek people as well as other southern europeans. And thats because of our similar cultures.

    GOD BLESS!!!

  • @Arabchick21 the only thing Greeks have in common with the arabs is the music and some food adopted from the Ottoman empire.. not direct relation.. more like a Turkish influence

  • @MELITIx05 False!!...i though agree there northern middle eastern people (lebanese, syrians, iraqis, palestinians) and greeks have in common when it comes to music and foods. But greeks also have some middle eastern dna haplogroup (J2 dna haplogroup).A good amount of greeks share similar dna makeup with lots of northern middle eastern people like iranians, syrians, lebanese, iraqis, armenians, turks, and other noerhern middle eastern people.

  • @Arabchick21 J2 is a Mediterranean harlogroup.. people all over southern europe have it.. Greeks dont look like arabs

  • @MELITIx05 J2 is actually orginally a northern middle eastern dna.J2 orginated in mesopotamia which we know as iraq today.J2 is infact a very old ancient J2 dna haplogroup. It spread through europe, when many ancient northern middle eastern people conquered or moved to europe.

  • @MELITIx05 As for greeks, well i can say that greeks are diverse looking people just like northern middle eastern people. And yes!,i have seen greeks that look like northern middle eastern people like syrians, lebanese, iraqis, iranians, and even armenians.I also have seen spainards, maltese, italians, and other southern europeans who looked like other types of middle eastern people.

  • @Arabchick21 yes there are some Greeks that look arabic and some that look French.. what does that mean.. the average Greek looks Mediterranean

  • @MELITIx05 Well you have to understand that mediterranean does not mean only europe.Northern middle eastern people are also mediterranean and even those arabs and berbers located in north africa are also mediterranean. And of course when i am speaking about northern middle eastern people i am talking about iranians, iraqis, lebanese, syrians, turks, armenians, and palestinians.I am of course NOT speaking about the saudis or lower parts of gulf arabs, because we are also different then them!.

  • @Arabchick21 ok thats geography.. anyways i meant mediterranean from Europe

  • @MELITIx05 Well...of course i know you were speaking about the mediterraneans from europe.I am just saying thaat mediterranean doesnt only mean europe......

  • @Arabchick21 obviously lol a person must have flunked geography if they thought that

  • @MELITIx05 LOL!!....hahahahah

  • Yes you are rightLinda4477 I have never undestood people with such a venom like or dislike is personal and should be kept as such if like it encouragement is good so we get more .Most of these hatered stems from Religion and low level Nationalism luckily they are in minority.

  • :17 seconds that is an irish mandolin not necessarily a GREEK bouzouki and definitely not a greek person (acutally einai polu asximos haha) telos pandwn ! the rest is pretty good, kali doulia file!

  • @Kritikopedo The Irish have adopted the bouzouki quite a few years ago, they flattened the rear of it and call it an Irish bouzouki.Only the person who introduced it to Ireland (name escapes me) still uses the Greek bouzouki. By the way, it still sounds very Greek!

  • @Kritikopedo Wrong!!!The Irish have adopted the bouzouki and flattened the back of it for reasons only known to themselves, except for the person who introduced it to Ireland who continues to play the original instrument. That is called an Irish Bouzouki.

  • i really love this song !!! both in greek and arabic !

does anyone know where i can find the arabic version and could someone translate this for me? (unless its the same in arabic lol)

  • i loveeee greek and arabic 4eva XxXx

  • You know, it's a shame that when I hear a nice song like this and share it with my family, I always have to explain to my mother and little sisters why the comments are so nasty and rude. It's a real shame.

  • Sorry Linda for the dirty comments...I always thought people who love music have peace in their souls, but it seems some don´t have a soul at all !!

  • @BobsArtGallery many uploaders have the ability to remove whatever commentary they wish; perhaps you should consider this

  • Music crosses all boundaries and this music is a thing of joy that should last forever.I love this song and agree with you that its sad that people cannot listen without putting on nast comments

  • @Linda4477 Stupid people mix politics with joy .

    It's beautiful music without a doubt .

  • Sweet hart you don't need to be upset about someone comment , Opinions are like assholes..everybody's got one and they are all shitty..

thank you so much for sharing this lovely song with us ...

  • What a language !!...You live in Jordan, and I think you are a christian Arab/Greek who has hatered to Muslims in general. But whoever you are, you are a low class idiot....Leave this page.

  • Comment removed

  • Have respect.Christ is a leader in the muslim religion as well.Remember that and the importance of his mother in Islam

  • @PURPLEBEATTIE1 It's not you who teach me how to respect.... all of good and wise people respect all messengers... I never meant the holy Christ, I meant sweiss2003 and his racist comments.... see how that guy speaks about us..... you should reply him as well.

  • I will answer him.I dont like racism.Good luck and I hope life is kind to you enshalah

  • Normally people who love music are peacefull and polite, but it seems you are not one of them !!...watch something else on youtube....

  • You are a disgrace.Dont be racist,Its a bad thing to be.We are all born the same way and we will all die the same way

  • god bless greece

    egyptian here

  • sweiss2003 you can't listen to the music with out making acomment sound you know shit about music how about just shut fuck up ! and put your information about arabic and greeks music in your ass !

  • do Arabic singers pay the copyright fees????? I doubt it. the only arabic songs which I might like are the lebanese & the greatest are the Greeks.

  • this is pure Greek Song not as mentioned Greek/Arabic, Arabic singers are always steeling good rythems from Greek songs.

  • Well the melody is not pure Greek afterall...!! Arabs do have fantastic rythms themselves, but all nations get influenced by each other´s music culture . Even Stevie Wonder sings Arabic sometimes !!

  • the only good arabic songs are the songs with rythems stolen from Greece, Russia & even America. Arabs have fantastic steeling skills not fantastic songs. Steve Wonder singing in Arabic!!!!!!!!!!! that's the first time I hear such thing I guess if that's true then then no wonder he vanished

  • I think you are turning the music subject to a political personal hatered to Arabs. I meant ironicly that Stevie wonder uses Arabic scales in his singing sometime. There is nothing called stealing in music, you can copy a song from any country, and you pay copyright.

  • who the fuck said that!!!!!! man we have very common music u can say we have the same rythem but we dont steel anything!!!! set ur info straight

  • naxeres monaha poso mouheis leipsei makria apo sena niwthw mono thlipsi

  • great

  • Agapo afto to tragoodia.
