  • love this movie

  • Happy Martin Luther King Day...I love this movie and watch whenever I;m feeling Low. It lifts me up.

  • I remember first seeing this movie when i was little about 5 i think and I loved it from the start. At that age I didnt get all of this black and white crap. I mean really? We're all the same people, it doesnt matter what color skin you have. I love this movie so much and I think everyone should watch it because it gives people a great lesson on what life is all about or at least what it should be about. The grandpa promised molly that he would get manny to marry corrina well at the end he did.

  • Isn't the vase the one cortina broke when she stayed for dinner?

  • Whoopi looks incredible in this movie!

  • He breaks the glass because he doesn't want to hold on to the past, he has moved on-to corrina

  • Corrina is going to move in

  • Her supper is getting cold..

  • "Manny, who are you talking to?" I love that!!!!!

  • I don't know why i keep laughing when he breaks the vase lol. But this is a beautiful movie.

  • Thank you for uploading. :)

  • 5:32 Percy's face is priceless haha!

  • @LilasRose1973

    It's like: "A white man!!!!"

  • Is this movie available on DVD? I want it so bad.

  • @indigothecat Yes it is! You can order it on Play.com or Amazon.

  • My gosh Ray Liotta is so fucking sexy i.would tear him apart smh

  • Oh c'mon take it granma! :D You know you want it

  • God bless the granpa.

He had no hate against black people! :(

    Sad ending.good song! Love it

    ALL PEOPLE ARE THE SAME:)

  • I can't find part 12:(

  • one of my favourite movies, absolutely brilliant. I wish one day I have a daughter like molly :)

  • "All down the road, Imma going ta let eet shine" lol the grandma

  • Coming over there looking all sad..."Baby, take me back!"

  • hands down fav part. is when manny turns around and sticks his tongue out lol

  • i never really understood why he said , i like the cracks and then smashed it ... anyone care to explain

  • @Zombie8Cupcake Well, Corrina broke the vase in the beginning of the movie (interview scene) so Corrina fixxed it... Thts why the vase had cracks... Jenny was too perfect for Manny.... Manny likes things to be real... Flawed but beautiful like Corrina.... #Hit "I like the cracks"

  • gotta love the way grammy sings..."im goin let it shine" wit her british accent...classic:)

  • @rwalker43 Errm, she's definitely not British.

  • @rwalker43 thats not british. its more like ukrainian or something

  • Discovered this movie on Youtube, rented it from my local library and then bought it. Have watched it multiple times already since buying and just LOVE it.

Whoopi is beautiful inside and out and Liotta is sweet and sensitive. But the children steal the show -- especially little Miss Molly and Mr. Percy.

Great film -- one of a kind.

  • Manny is a sweet man!

  • is this mr. pudding face? XD

  • Thank you so much for uploading it was a great film!!

  • Lol at the grandmother singing...too cute.

  • Awww! Poor White Boy got it bad for his Chocolate Drop! *purrrr* *giggle*

  • IM-A going to-a let is shine xD adorable

  • i l,ove tge music from 3:02 its beautiful

  • I think Molly is the most adorable child ever, amazing movie and I do believe they ended up together, there were a lot of signs in the movie that imply that

  • The ending scene is wonderful <3

  • The ending always confused me a little. Does Corrina stay in Molly and Manny's life? Or does she "quit" and she brings Molly the binder, then that's that? :S

  • @JessyGirl002 She quits the job...But she doesn't quit the family.

  • @NekojinAmako I figured as much, thanks for the clarification :)

  • I love Percy's laugh!

  • awww omgsh they get together i luv this:)

  • Why the blue car still parked there.?

  • I love when he asked if she wants to give the notebook to Molly and when she looks down...look at Ray Liotta's face...like he's not sure she will. Shows the depth of his feelings and that he's afraid he will lose her.

  • @blkchk i like that moment too. :)

  • A gentle and inspirational movie.

  • Now THAT'S a hug!

  • I actually felt kind of sorry for Jenny...she was just trying to get a man.

  • @blkchk lmaooooooo

  • Alla scena finale mi sono sempre commossa...è più forte di me! Non riesco a frenare le lacrime...

    E' stupendo questo film!!!!!

  • ima goink to leddit shine.

  • One interesting part of this scene while Molly and her grandmother are singing are that the grandmother is not experiencing the pain her son felt, to lose your life partner. She is feeling that same absence, and it creates a lesson of sorts for her, on a subconscious level, that when you lose love, your 'next love' if you are fortunate to have one, may not fit the category you originally planned; just be happy to enter your life, regardless of the 'gift wrapping' it arrives in.

  • Thank you for posting this. I was in the process of writing a story and realized that this movie is a bit similar. EXCELLENT MOVIE! Thanks.

  • i love that when they made up, he didn't rehire, that way it became obvious that from then on, theyd have & acknowledge a real relationship, & not pretend that she's only around because it's her job. theyre a real couple & really a family. :)

  • That woman was so desperate to get with him hahaha. I saw this movie recently, only part of it but I LOVED it.

  • i love this movie it's a classic

    wwwdotlovablefashionsdotcom

  • @xarxalas This little light of mine..

  • awww!!!i LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! =D

  • So from inferring does Manny marry Corrina or just hire her back

  • @dertlash idk, cuz THAT look between the 2 sisters at the dinner table, kinda implied that Corrina and Manny r 2gether, but idk. i like to think they got marrid and lived HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!! =D

  • @dr383188

That's the only thing that kinda disappoints me about the movie. It could have gone a little further so we'd know that for sure. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @dertlash He hired someone else. The fact that he says "I think you'll like himn" and that she introduces him to the family signifies they will marry.

  • that is so sweet. now the granddaughter is helping her grandmother through her grief, like corrina did for her.... aw.

  • i always wanted to slap woopi's sister in this movie. she was wayyyyyy too over controlling

  • Holy crap!! I just realized that the girl who plays Molly is the girl from Napoleon Dynamite!! Quite an epiphany huh.. XD

  • @odd1out303 good call i couldnt figure out where i recognized her from.

  • my favorite part is when he stuck his tongue out after she said come inside. it was just so adorable

  • I actually kind of like Jenny at the end. Yes, she's silly, but she's just trying to keep it together the best she can, and most of her silliness is just the product of her times. We can't all be Corrina! :)

  • Beautiful.

I'm black(Canadian) and love white guyz, though I'm not ashamed with who I am.

screw politics, and screw what ppl have to say. Take a freaking stand and shut- the-fuck-up;) you know? Lol

  • @lifeluvf lol, yeah I know.

  • i love this movie :,)

  • this is happiness!

  • I like it when Corrina introduce Manny to the family, it's like letting them know this is your boyfriend.

  • Manny is one cute white guy :)

  • What happened to part 12???

  • @PeachPearl54 Manny's dad died.

  • Comment removed

  • @yippy010

    his father died..

  • I absolutely love the part when a very dejected and hurting Manny stops and looks to heaven and asks God for help because he is obviously at the end of his ropes and realizes he won't make it without some help. We all are in that same boat and when all else fails, we must ask for help.

  • @shooster11 Mmhmm, but you knew she was going to come back out if he waited for her. Their chemistry was unbeatable. Even their arguing was made for each other.

  • I never imagined that Ray Liotta and Whoopi Goldberg were in the same movie. They're both such great actors with lots of talent. Not to mention that Ray's cute, and Whoopi always brighten's everyone mood =)

  • I think the music playing while Manny is talking to God is beautiful. Perfect for the scene. It's the same music heard when Manny walks into his bedroom and find Corrina and Molly taking a nap. I've been looking everywhere and still cannot find the composer. Such a great movie, though.

  • I believe the composer is Rick Cox. He's listed on imdb

  • @msm2you Thanks! Still can't find the song, though. Will keep searching.

  • Percy is my favorite! i love how he pretends to talk on the phone with a cup!

love this movie! its so beautiful

  • @curlyswirly I grew up in the 50s and used to do the same thing.

  • @curlyswirly He is too adorable. "Percy, get your jaw off the table and pull up an extra seat."

  • great movie, thanks for the post!

  • This was back before you had to have a sequel to everything. Movies ended so well, you didn't have any questions.

  • You're right about sequels; they are becoming more and more convoluted. Just the other day, my brother asked me, "whatever happened to the hour-and-a-half movie?"

  • he couldnt keep his hands off of her at the end :) ilove this movie

  • I LOVE Percy! He is absolutely adorable.

  • Finally Grandpa make Daddy marry Corrina, as Molly asked...

  • percy is so cute!

  • hahaha. yeah, he so is.

    "Sit down. G'head, sit down.'

  • made me tear up at the end..in a good way though =)

  • I finally figured out where I recognize Jevina? from. She's on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

  • uhoh hes back lol

  • Manny u r what is called- :( -upset!! Ha ha ha he finally got his point across! (by the way I know a lady who has two kids named Corrina and Corrino.:)

  • love them together!

Ray was all over her when he was interviewed on The View.

  • UMmm really?

    Is it on youtube?

  • @lovelove4evermore I've tried to find that episode and can only find the part when he first walks in.

  • i love it when he sticks out his tounge at the end , this movie was great one of my fav ray liotta movies

  • Manny...What a terrible name!

  • thank you for your time, this was one of my favourite movies

  • wow, what a nice movie.

  • The ending is sooo adorableee :D

  • I love the end, so sweet :')

  • Percy is adorable, and I like the part when Manny sticks out his tongue, lol. Great movie.

  • I just love percy!

  • overimaginated : thanks from spain,i love this movie!!!

    thanks,thaks,thakss

  • amazing movie i wasnt expecting it to be so nice and indeed corrina introducing her family to him was more than a friend introduction AMAZING MOVIE 5*

  • I doubt if Corrina bought him into her house and introduced him to her family just as a friend. I think her intentions were clear considering her sister's previous comments and matchmaking attempts. The look between the two sisters says it all.

  • i like the part at 3:27 when she asks him who are you talking to, cause his laugh sounds a little bit like his laugh at goodfellas in the restaurant scene

  • you right, and Ray always remember me Goodfellas too when he is yelling at the guy who grabs Whoopi at the restaurant; he's like "What the matter with you?!" he is acting the same way than when he's talking to Morries xDD

  • OMG- i thought the same thing.. he sounded the same way when he was playing henry hill..good catch

  • The beauty of this film is the characters and thier feelings not about race just two people who found each other . GREAT FILM and I could wathc over and over never tiring of it.

  • I just realized Jenny wants to fix the cracks in the vase that Corrina broke and fixed. He didn't want it fixed because it reminded him of Corrina.

  • @preachabrenda no u stupid person it was his wife cause in the beginning jenny broke it. Not corrina

  • @2cute9100 No Corrina broke it. It was on the table when he was interviewing her for the job and she knocked it over.

  • @preachabrenda hahahaa.....duh....=D

  • @preachabrenda

    I saw that as well.

Corrina had glued the cracks together, which could represent how she was the glue that kept Manny and Molly together which could also be the reason why he did not want it fixed.

  • i love this thankyou so much for the up

  • GREAT!!!!

  • so i have a question...did they get 2gether at the end or was it just that they accepted one another for who they were and just became close friends?

  • Together! :D

  • Yeah, it's pretty obvious that it's the start of their honest Relationship, wherever that leads. But, hey... He'd be a fool to let go of Corrina.

  • ha ha! Ya know that's the same question I've asked for years. I really would've like to have known what the outcome was. It leaves a big question.

  • @msnambi Funny I never thought the ending was in question. If you mean there are no minute details...yeah. But this movie follows an old-fashion mode where nuance is everything. Their conversation, hugging, the fact he hired someone else and he says "I think you'll like him", she introduces him to the family with her sister already guessing their relationship AND him bringing Corrina home to meet his mother kinda says they are in a relationship now.

  • Thank you for uploading this! I loved it when I was little, and seeing it again, I love it all the more. (And teeny tiny Tina Majorino! Adorable!)

  • thank you so much for uploading this film ;) i never ever watched a film with whoopi goldberg starring in it - seems like i missed a lot xD

  • I am sorry I meant Russian-Jewish.

  • I can't believe Jenny is the same actress who played the first lady in Air Force One!

She played Jenny well, including the controlled rage that Jenny tries to keep below the surface. You can just tell that Jenny could go psycho on you at any moment when things didn't go right.

  • @firmingitup Oh yeah, she definitely wasn't as sweet as that phoney voice!

  • babycohete01 la cancion si chama This Little Light Of Mine okay? rsrsrs...gostou do meu portunhol huahuahuahua flws!!!!

  • Thanks for the movie!

  • Thank you for putting this up. I havent seen it since i was a kid, what a wonderful movie!

  • HAH! At 5:00 he sticks his tongue out at the hypothetical nosy neighbours.

  • You gotta love Percy

  • I'd never heard of this movie before, but it was fantastic! Thanks for posting it on youtube! I'll go through you're other movies on here too another day

  • I cannot stand how some woman will Hit on a goodlooking man after he just lost his wife that is just sick he at least needs a year or so to grieve.

  • Percy is such a cute little chubby boy

  • @michele245 Percy is hysterical.

  • Such a beautiful film! Finally! Something with meaning! Thank you for posting this up!

  • I love Percy!!!

    " sit dow, sit down!"

  • "You can have all my vegetables". I love it when Percy says it

  • what a lovely film! Ray Liotta - he is beautiful!

  • love this movie, classical... <3

most of Whoopi Goldberg's movies are great

  • i have to say, whoopi looks fantastic in that dress

  • yeah, she looks really pretty in it !

  • I luv Percy....he's so cute

  • thank you sooo much for posting this i absolutely love this movie!!! thank you.

  • Where's Molly's grandmother come from?

  • Her husband just died, so Manny must have had her move in to help take care of Molly. Remember how he said he had someone new and that Corrina would really like her. I love this movie!!!

  • I think she mean nationality. I'm thinking Jewish, I had neighbors that talked like her when I was little.

  • <
