Holy shit, Ive only seen the UK version, I was walking in the shops the other day and walked past a dvd that said LIFE ON MARS and i looked closer and thought "this isn't fucking sam, OR gene WTF!" then behold, i realised that the god damned US STOLE this tv show and fucked it up behond recognition. I cant stand this actor, no-one can replace John Simm no matter how hard they try to. The UK version will always be the origional, and the best. Full stop. US needs to stop fucking stealing shows!

Especially Harvey Kietel, much better than the Uk actor who plays Gene even thought he is good. Also the US actor who plays Ray outclasses the UK actor who plays Ray in all aspects. Just because the US or any country re-create any great series or tv show, does not mean they are shit. You obviously have never even seen it & hate it pre-maturely so your thoughts are flawed & invalid.

Loved the series on ABC,wish that they wouldnt have yanked it off!! (own the DVD set of the series) So glad that they changed all of the actors except for Sam Tyler's character.Meaney doesn't hold a candle to Keitel as Gene.Keitel Rules!!!!!!!!
