People who organize and run Iranian student unions or associations here in Toronto work really hard to introduce our culture to other people. I personally have so much respect for them.

The New Year party is one of the many things they do. They hold many seminars throughout the year to help bring Iranian together and show people that we are not barbarians (what mass media is telling the world) and we have many beautiful traditions that should be appreciated.
