  • Maybe it's just my age but gosh that looks so much more inviting than a big LCD set. I need a peanut butter sandwich for some reason. Thanks for your work.

  • @keith4291 Keith,we have converter boxes now...And this ;The three Stooges(short)that is playing on this TV is from the VHS/DVD player that I have inside where the turntable used to be.....

  • Awww... we don't get to watch the three stooges?

  • @jebug29 Unfortunately my old camera is so out dated it will not film over a minute and a half.So my videos are short, and somewaht lame....I need a new camera...!

  • @saltwatersun I have a camera like that too! If they still made 1GB SD cards I wouldn't have that problem though.

  • Ever time I see that Columbia Pix.' statue logo..I have to salute it and I also salute the images of"The Three Stooges"..I know that this sounds crazy..but..I have to salute it..because these icons are like The Statute Of Liberty and the flag..you have to show your respect.

  • @143AC Sounds like your a victim of the circumstances.....LOL

  • Play GTA IV on it film it and upload it on Youtube, would be great 5/5

  • Nice TV set! I'm proud to own my original, one-owner, September 1984 Sears TV! One of the few TV's of the 80's to have a remote control, that has all the functions, like tint, brightness, etc.

  • Thats cool, I seen one once that someone put a fish tank in.

  • that sucks that you didnt get the turntable with it

  • That's a nice classic tv there

  • awesome!

  • I love it!

  • beautiful

how did u get it working again?

  • This is a brand new tv inside a very old tv.

    It's like born again tv....LOL

  • @saltwatersun Cheater! lol

  • @saltwatersun so you open up the two tv's take both the tubes out and put the new one in the old tv housing?

  • @Skating4Passion I bought it already gutted.found a tv that would fit in there, and put it in.

  • Beautiful set. BTW, I think I have the same rabbit ears as you do, does yours say "Rembrandt?" My parents got them in 1959 and I still use them to this day, as of now, they are hooked up to a Zenith ATSC tuner hooked up to a color Commodore-64 monitor. They do a fairly good job at bringing in DTV and HDTV signals.

  • Yes they are Rembrandt. They still work great. But once things go digital I don't know if they work.

  • they'll work, you'd just have to rig up one of those digital convertor boxes between the antenna and the tv.

  • I did and it works just fine, well until you lose the signal.....ha ha ha

  • it's not good to disrespect the classics. This TV was polished very well!!! Looks Brand New.

  • Cool.

  • I love seeing old tvs from the 40's - 70's still working...I hate when people take out the old electronics and use them as props or put a new oe in the cabinet

  • I bought this TV already gutted.I did not gut this television.I bought it and figured I would improve it.Maybe save it from a worse fate.Sure it would be nice to have it all original.

  • or when they turn them into fishtanks lol

  • some years ago at an exposition i saw an old tv....whit a totally new one inside!!!!!! (cabinet included)!!!!!!!!i'm not joking!

  • That fits perfectly. Nice set! :)

  • Nice looking set, it's got a great picture quality too. I find the older TVs usually have a nicer picture than the new cheap plastic ones.

  • This is a new set...The cheap plastic kind.ha ha ha.....Read "About this video"

  • Larry Fine always uses a viola to play "Pop Goes the Weasel" in order to impress Curly Howard as a professional boxer.

  • we're back on 50's!!!!! :-))

  • AWESOME!
