  • Love the part at 1:06 !!! *yeah* :D

  • YEAH!!!!! I need that Music for my Car, or maybe it's a bad idea speeding through traffic trying to knock everybody off the course!

  • F-Zero series will ALWAYS OWN Call of Doodoo

  • For me,The best machine wasn't fire stingray,It was wild goose.

  • @TheEevee10 Golden Fox all the way. :D I love the way it driiiiiffffffttttttsssss~

  • As a Bassist I have to say that this track is better than sex :D

  • 70,000th viewer!

  • @WhiplashPuppet Well................. some of us don't have people in the same household to play with, yet, you have a good point.

  • @Cirahon That may be true, but that's what the weekend was for. Getting together with friends after school and enjoying some good old multiplayer fun. At least back then you could call your friends a few names if they beat you and it was all taken in a joking manner. Can't do that online though. Might piss someone off, ya know?

  • only the original has the soul in it!! ...(A)(A)(A)(A)(A) & woo00OOSHHH >:]

  • 2 People couldn't survive Fire Field.

  • Hearing this song always makes me wana go back behind the wheel in F-zero, easily one of the best racers of the snes era

  • I was happy to hear this in Brawl but they cut some of it out ... heck I wanted to hear this in X or GX but nooooo same with the Original Port Town and Silence themes

  • sounds like something i would call: 'The Boss Track'

  • Damn the drive!

  • One of my favorite games. Why? It´s F-Zero!

  • i would always play the king league over and over again just to get to this stage.

the stage is just completely badass, with all the lava everywhere and all that, and the music is way too fucking awesome.

easily my favorite stage/music in the game. it just never gets old

  • this track was so long but this song was soooo good. in fact, every song in this game is incredible. they dont make game soundtracks like these anymore.

  • the snes kills all hands down when it comes to bass and bassliner effects.

  • Pure "bit" Music metal!

  • i like brawl version better

  • this game is uber hard i can't complete the first cup on novice without blowing up

  • we need an F-Zero game on the 3DS!!!!!!!!

  • @jedimastersteven hold your pants that will happen

  • this sounds like a pokemon battle theme xD

  • @DragonSor64 lol i used this as a boss theme in my rpg maker game it's just so plain kickass, it goes with everything. too bad my rpg game sucked though XD.

  • Oh man i used to play this game for hours. It was so addictive and one of my fav snes titles

  • I just dled megaman 9 and 10 for my xbox I was just about brought to tears. Its nostalgic to see game companies realizing 8 bit and 16 bit eras were the pinacle of gaming.

  • The Keyboard solo is just AWESOME!!!!

  • The epicness really begins at 0:56.

  • Kids these days just wouldn't understand...

My brothers friend (born in the late 80s) first system was a playstation. He's a sports game fan. Our PS3 had to do a fn mandatory download so while we was waiting I said...well...we can play Madden '93 on the SNES lol. He looked at me like...you can't be serious... I was though lol. Hell we got SM World (1991) and a few game boy games that probably date back to the 80s here.

  • I remember myself, buzzing this melody in school. So cool :)

  • Super Nintendo

    this good

  • I have another title for Fire Field, "HELL", or "I-10 /I-8 ARIZONA"

  • @ir10031981

"I have another title for Fire Field, "HELL", or "I-10 /I-8 ARIZONA"

LOL...look out for the double hairpins!

  • Man--my friend's band should cover this!!! I never knew game music could literaly rock!!!

  • this song is TEH AWSUHMNISS lol it still a great song :D

  • C.Falcon:This is madness!?

    N00B:L0L0L0L0L0L GRAFIK!

    C.Falcon: THIS...IS...F-ZERO!

    *PAWNCH!*

    N00B:L0L0LL0L0L00L00L0L0 PSSFREEEEE!!!

  • @nickrawls08 Your guess is as good as mine. As least Nintendo recognizes what made it soo good back in the day with the wii virtual console or whatever it is.

  • holy shit, I'm going to play this on my bass guitar right now

  • @LqrDrnkr757 Well stop trying to get social approval and fucking do it even though we know you can't figure out songs for shit!

  • isnt falcon's machine number 07?

  • i love the freaking bass line man

  • Does this sound like it would be the music for the old Pokemon gameboy color games boss battle against Team Rocket Leader or is it just me

  • @DejaBlue95 I agree. although I think of Red and Blue (Gameboy)

  • @DejaBlue95 I think this would fit the Team Magma Leader better.

  • 1:06-1:24 brain melting... simply amazing.

  • Thumbs up this if you think games were better back in the day when you didn't have these new fangled 3D graphics, with bad camera angles and when the controller didn't have 50 million buttons on it. In a related note, this was possibly one of the best games ever released for the SNES. I miss the old days.

  • @WhiplashPuppet So do I... what the hell make them think of Motion Control games anyway? xD

  • @WhiplashPuppet and these new games hardly ever have a kick ass sountrack

  • @SOUTHWESTENZ Or one at all for that matter.

  • @WhiplashPuppet its one of my biggest gripes with modern games

  • @SOUTHWESTENZ Most modern games consist of FPS, nothing original anymore really. =/

  • @WhiplashPuppet you cant imagine how much i hate it. At least we still got Nintendo

  • There aren't that many buttons on controllers now-a-days. But it gets annoying now that everything is pretty much played with the trigger buttons and analog. I miss the days when Dpads and face buttons flourished.

  • @TranceCore3 Somewhere down the road, the gaming companies lost touch with what the fans enjoyed I guess in favor of a genera that would generate much more income (I'm looking at you Halo/CoD...) You NEVER see a good platformer game anymore. =/

  • You usually have to stick with nintendo consoles for those types of games. GBA had some of the best (Mega Man Zero series) and DS had a few good ones, including New Super Mario brothers, and Mega Man ZXA. But yeah. I grew up on games like Mega Man and Mario. The fact that companies are deviated too far from their roots and trying too hard to be a mass media market is what's tearing me apart from this newschool stuff. I was born in 89. played the hell out of both my SNES and Genesis.

  • so I definitely know what a good game feels like.

  • @TranceCore3 I know, right? I can't stand the amount of focus put into online multiplayer either, it's just too competitive for my liking. Whatever happened to when multiplayer meant sitting next to a friend in the same room and playing a game instead of playing with a bunch of strangers who you'll never meet? You can't dick around and have fun with strangers in a game like Halo like you can with your friends that can actually sit and play the game with you, unless they're just as competitive.

  • @WhiplashPuppet it isn't that new technology is bad, it's just that creativity in gaming has stagnated and there aren't many good games being made anymore...

  • @WhiplashPuppet In one way, I actually agree with you a bit since quite a few games have gotten pretty shallow. However, another side of me is telling you that you're acting like a complete nostalgia fag. Not all modern games are like that :P

  • @Gergothman Not entirely. There are some good games, they just tend to get buried a lot under the FPS genera of games now. Though Borderlands and L4D are always fun. Most of the newer stuff doesn't appeal to me much, aside from a handful of Wii games that I'd like to try out. Also don't care much for how newer games, specifically 360 games, tend to be money leeches with all the DLC and stuff. I dunno, maybe I just miss when gaming mattered and not how much money the game made or online gameplay.

  • @WhiplashPuppet I agree with you fully on that! I do admit it still irks me when people say that old games are better than the new ones simply because they're old.

  • @Gergothman It's not just that they're old. For me, older games, weather it be SNES, PS1, N64, etc, have a sort of magic about them that newer games lost somewhere along the line. It goes back to what I was saying before. It started becoming more about the money, online gameplay, the latter of the two generating competitive gaming which I've always felt takes away from the overall fun of a game. What good is a game if the only way you can enjoy it is online?

  • @WhiplashPuppet I agree.

Also, the Older Games where much harder and longer.

    I mean

Super Mario World: 12 Hours first Playthrough, got in the last worlds a few times Game Over

Super Mario 3D land: Four Hours, I died only 5 Times in the whole Game...

I think you can see the Difference.

The Nowadays Developer only look on the Graphic. before, They looked on Story, Boss fights, Level Design and, most of all, DIFFICULTY AND LENGTH! In my Opinion, Rare made the best Games with a length of 80 Hours!

  • @Aurorosthebest Very much agreed. Rare were kings when they were around. Especially during the N64 era. Blast Corps, Jet Force Gemini, Diddy Kong Racing, Conkers Bad Fur Day, DK64. Banjo-Kazooie. The list goes on. It's a shame they're not around anymore. It really is. =/

  • @WhiplashPuppet They made one Game for the Xbox because Nintendos selled them.

The Game sucked to NO END! It is a Shame... Why did Nintendo do that?! I really wish Rare would came back to Nintendo... And they could make an 3D JUMP AND RUN WHICH IS WORTH TO PLAY! SCREW MARIO! Sorry, but I had to do that...

  • @Aurorosthebest Yeah, it'd be nice to see Rare come back and get up with Nintendo again. That's where Rare really belonged, not with Xbox/Microsoft.

  • @WhiplashPuppet inFamous :C

  • And don't get me started on the online community. Either they're too fuckin serious about the game, they're barely 13 years of age and can't play worth shit, or you end up with those damn teabaggers. I may be old fashioned, but I prefer my multiplayer having everyone in the same room as me. At least then I know we can goof around and crack jokes while we're playing a game and just have fun with it.

  • I Love how now with the Wii alot of companies are bringing back 8-bit style games like Cave Story and the Bit Trip Series and on all consoles 2-D Sidescrolling Action is coming back with a 3-D look like New Super Mario Bros and Little Big Planet.

  • I would rename this stage "I-8 Arizona" because it's hot as hell in Arizona in summer.

  • F-F-F-FALCON PWANCH!!!

  • OMFG this. game. is. BEAST

  • I just listened to the brawl remix. For me its waaay too soft. This thing should be remixed in a hard, crashing and gloomy way. Nice song here :)

  • Tonight, we race in hell!

  • you have the mp3? becuase i want it!

  • Show me ya SNES!

  • BEHOLD! 8 BIT IN ALL IT'S GLORY!

  • @OneNinety9 Actually it's 16-bit

  • I always boost at 1:05

  • Fucking mines.

Anyone who has actually raced on Fire Fields knows what I'm talking about. Especially on GP Legend.

  • @Twinkieguy Fucking THIS.

  • 1:04

  • definitivamente snes fue snes..... es una lastima que los chicos de hoy en dia no conozcan de estas verdaderas joyas de video juegos..... bueno, aun hay los emuladores de es snes, pero de verdad la emocion no es la misma...

  • One area nintendo has yet to fail in is the beautiful soundtrack for their games!

  • @slowframe nintendo hasnt failed at all...if you are referring to the bad games on the wii, every nintendo and nintendo affiliate produced game is great. its the third parties that suck.

  • @tc413141

He's saying Nintendo has not yet failed at soundtrack making.

  • @GoWeegee lol oh i misread XD

  • The times when games were actually good!

Now all we get are pieces of bullshit covered with shiny "awesome" graphics when the gameplay is puke worthy.

I think all old-school gamers would agree with this...the 80s and 90s were the times!

  • It would be awesome if Futurama did a history of the 26th century and mentioned this.

  • Bad-ass

  • love this music

  • everybody listen the jazz cover of this song, escuchen el album jazz arrangement de f-zero

  • I came

  • lol @ the box.

  • Ahhh man.

    I want to play F-Zero.

    My cartrige should still work.

    :3

The music from that game has stood the test of time and even though the remakes are sweet nothing beets the classic

    Mute City or White Land.

    good times.

    goooood times.

  • Best Version Ever... I Don't Like the "New" Ones.

Imagine This With Real Life Instruments!!!

  • i think they made this one with real instuments with SSBB remake NOT EPIC but decent...over all this one still kicks ass

  • @DREBIN813

I Didn't Like That Version... There's Almost no Bass and the Guitar (for me) Should be an Electronic Keyboard or Something Like That, Guitar Could be an Extra. I Wouldn't Feel in the "Most Dangerous Track".

  • have you heard Tony Thai's X-Style of this

  • recuerdo la emocion que me dio la primera vez que jugué esta pista... la musica increible, la pista endemoniadamente dificil.!!!!! los buenos juegos de antaño....

  • Man, the percurssion at 0:41...I tried many and many, but I made it! It's too fast. Too many beats per second. ^^

  • Not if you stroke it out in singles :/

  • Hell yeah! Amazing how pumped a 16-bit video game tune can get you. That bass line kicks so much ass

  • i got this game at a video game store its awsome than ever even though its on a snes

  • yeah! the first make, sounds good though this is why they made a re-make and this time better than ever!

  • Nowadays they just put a Choir in it and they're done.

  • Awesome 19 years ago

    Still awesome today

  • as an addition to Koopa's comment, all people care about these days in games are graphics. Games 20 years ago had really shitty graphics and are still awesome games!

  • Actually, older game designers used to tax the machine/console to its maximum power, even to limits considered imposible before, now all they care about is money, graphics are their least concern since now its easy to just make it look shinier, instead of using programming tricks

  • @8monoxxx True but all Kids Care about is Grafix which is sad cuz the Wii actually has alot of good games but people are like oh the Wii has shitty grafix ill just play CoD on my xbox.

  • @8monoxxx you do understand that current days machines have evolved so much and have become so much more complicated. It's not even fair to compare that to earlier days.

  • @ginonijssen True that, each year we come closer to the singularity thingy

  • @8monoxxx Then again, it's easy to say that people aren't nearly as good at programming and actually using the hardware... compare what the SNES can do and what it did do before it died to what the PS3 can do, and what small percentage of that is actually used by anything in its library...

  • @Aitamen I love that both have their tricks, SNES had mode 7, the superior soudchip, and Starfox 2 had a add on chip more powerful than the SNES itself, PS3 has Blu-ray and the SPU's, frankly I didn't quite expect 3D (even if untextured) on SNES, neither did I expect some near CGI quality on games like Uncharted 2 and God of War 3, let's just hope there are still people who care about the quality of each department, and produce top grade games

  • @8monoxxx Aye... That's what just about everyone is hoping for~

  • @8monoxxx and starfox 2 was never release :( same with f-zero 2

  • @8monoxxx

Sorry but as a game design student I can tell you that you're so wrong in so many ways. It's true that for PC games we can basically do whatever the heck we want with the graphics because most modern PC's with the latest drivers will be able to play it without to much trouble, but when it comes to consoles it's a whole different story. The Xbox360 and PS3 both require A LOT of programming skills in order to get the same quality graphics on the screen as the PC is capable of.

  • @LucvdMortel well, not exactly the same graphics as of today, PC's are a generation and a half or so ahead of consoles, but yes it does requiere ALOT of programming

  • @8monoxxx

For example, did you know that we have to use really complex render techniques on the consoles (Xbox360 and PS3) that involves rendering different assets/props at different resolutions in order to get the best possible graphics? For example, the game Alan Wake uses multiple render passes for different parts of the game. Some of the special effects for example are too complex to render at 720p, so they have to be rendered at 460p and then blended in with the rest of the screen.

  • @LucvdMortel I did read about that, games like GTA IV being sub-HD entirely (on the ps3), just upscaled to be 720/1080p whatever it was

a whole lot of good looking games used lower resolutions to achieve playability, like the newest Crysis 2, which then again, none of the effects or native resolution is HD, and the PS3 runs at an even lower resolution than the 360, then again.. the game looks DAMN fine, on PC, and both consoles, the particles were the part that really got my attention

  • @8monoxxx Jep that is correct. Nearly all modern console games are rendered at lower resolutions and upscaled to 720p or 1080p by the console's hardware. Not a single console games runs on a native 1080p resolution. However, some PS3 games run on a native 720p resolution.

The funny thing is, that when I play (for example) Portal 2 on my iMac on 1440p and then on my Xbox360 on 720p upscaled, just barely see the difference. Only when I get really close to my TV I see the difference.

  • @LucvdMortel dont the jaggy lines show up ? I mean, at 1440p you don't even need AA or maybe not as much, and at 720p AA is a must, I havent bought Portal 2 yet sadly, bought Homefront just the day that PSN was hacked, I feel ripped off lol

  • @8monoxxx

Well ofcourse I sit like 5 meters away from my TV screen, while I sit only 1 meter away from my iMac screen. If I would sit only 1 meter away from my TV screen, then surely I'd see a huge difference between the Xbox360's resolution v.s the iMac's resolution.

Funny thing is, even at 1440p, AA makes a difference. Even on 1440p you still see some jagged lines around the 3d models. However, AAx4 is enough to get an extremely smooth look on 1440p.

  • @LucvdMortel Then again, you do need quite a setup to run at that resolution with AA...., unless, I am way outdated

  • @8monoxxx

my setup is a 2010 iMac 27inch with the 2,93ghz core i7 quad processor and an ATI HD5750 and 8GB of DDR3 RAM (1333mhz).

I basically use my iMac for my education as a game designer (modeling in Maya and Z-brush and I'm currently using Unity to build my games with), but it runs games pretty well too. It runs Portal 2 on 1440p with AAx4 on a smooth constant 60fps.

  • @LucvdMortel Oh I forgot those kind of specs are a necesity when doing game design :S

  • @8monoxxx

Heh yeah, but trust me, my Mac is nothing compared to my brothers hardcore-gamer PC. His machine is an total utter beast, a monster. His machine can play Crysis (2) on maxed-out graphics with AAx4 on a 90fps framerate. While doing so, his CPU never gets any warmer than 42 degrees Celsius.

    His machine is insane.

So do you play any modern PC games? And what are your machine's specs?

  • @LucvdMortel Liquid cooled I assume lol

Not really, I only play Minecraft and Counterstrike/Orange Box games on this, and specs ... ugh...

the video card is the one that came in with the PC, dual core 3,2ghz 2 GB ram and windows XP, because Vista was being an ass. Never had a "real" PC to be honest, then again its not my money lol.

  • @Calvo819

The thing is... do you enjoy things of 100 years before? No, because you were not here. The same goes for this kind of things, there are people (specialy kids) who can't appreciate this because they only know the new generation of videoconsoles.

I am an exception. I was very very small when this came out, but I can enjoy it and I appreciate it even if it's not really of my generation.

  • @xxmago sure, but video games weren't created 100 years ago >.>

anywho, i have to agree with your comment though. I should probably say that as soon as my 4 year old brother turns my age, i will make him play super nintendo for 3 days :) If he says it sucks, NO PS3, NO 360, NO WII, NO ITEMS...Battlefield :)

  • @xxmago same here i bourght a n64 and a snes and rummaged around ebay to find those awesome games

  • @Calvo819 Fuck what these young assholes of todays generation (which sucks. have you seen their hair do?) have to say. Most graphically enhanced games today don't compare jackshit to the actual game play of the SNES/Genessis era. Wtf do they know? they were being concieved when these games earned their rep. FUCK TODAY'S GENERATION!!

  • @TheEroe1

    hell yeah

and Cartridges are waaaaaaaay better than discs anyways :)

  • @Calvo819 It's like all these little fucks talk about is the graphically given hand job the PS3 or Xbox 360 gives them and they don't realize the games they're playing suck compared to older games.

  • @TheEroe1 damn straight brah

  • @Calvo819 ido agree mostr people say rather the game sucks by grqaphics but some of the games with bad graphics are reaqlly fun and have god music

  • @Calvo819 yup i totally agree with that, i`m 19 and i`m still playing f-zero because of the gameplay itself and the awesome muzic, screw the graphics, the graphics are good enough to play the game, i even listen to the soundtracks from f-zero sometimes while i`m learning for school :D

  • @fehler91 all I can say to that is, EEYEEAAS! (yes!)

  • ever notice how almost no game creates original music ne more....

  • ...no? There's still exceptional amounts of new game music today...

  • ahhhhhhhhhhh 1:05

  • WHY WAS EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT THE NEW CONSOLES? ........ this is F-Zero .... F-ZERO!!!!!

This is the past ...... which created the current, which still sucks compared to the past. SCREW THE PS3!

    Snes needs a comeback!

We need a new age of RETRO!

  • yea mate, snes rules,

never forget the snes, f-zero had great music, like this theme

PS3 is lacking innovation in music,

just uses todays music, whereas snes was way ahead of its time

  • That's Right Screw the PS3 it alreday has problums

  • Hell yeah!

  • @koopaklan94 Well dont blame PS3, blame fucking Nintendo and they're shite wii! Nintendo made some class games back in the day, now they sold themselves out, forgetting about old-skool gamers (Like Me!! who stook with them loyal in the days of N64 and Gamecube when they were really struggling), and only bother about boring five "minute gamers," with Emo styled hair, and pink and yellow shirts (of which they use alot in their Promotional advertising) Nintendo are NOT "Retro" any more.

  • @RaikenXion they acturally focus on family oriented games now and some arent even games

  • @koopaklan94 Or more like we need the age of kick ass games like this!

Fuck Microsoft and Sony with their Wii and Eye Toy rips because you know that is going to be their ONLY "innovation".

  • @koopaklan94 hell yeah man, thats right, PS3 is nice and all, but never beats snes, snes and evrything old like it kicks ps2 and ps3 ass

  • @DoopaLoopa And I'd wager you're one of those people that only own's a 360 and does nothing but play Halo and other FPS games? If that's the case then GTFO, you're not a real gamer, if you we're, then you'd be showing a lot more respect for what any true gamer considers the Golden Age of video games.

  • Feel the BURN!!

  • I still have this game, it's oneof my favorites on the SNES, maybe I'll buy the Virtual Console version ^^

  • I have both. :) My SNES isn't pluged in anymore, but now I can play it again every time i want.

  • i personally dont care too much about graphics on a game. its all about how many times i can play a game without getting bored and the 360 and the wii both beat the ps3. not to mention the ps3 is way overpriced

  • i hated 360 until star ocean 4 came out for it. now i love that shit.

  • oh and for anybody that wants to play this game just download a snes emulator and the fzero rom. google them both to find them

  • i just noticed, that the official nintendo seal of quality on this picture is a fake

  • It's not. The PAL Seal of Quality is round and bronze, NTSC is ovular and gold.

  • the super nes is the ps3 of the time , the best

  • lol the ps3 is the worst of the 3 latest consoles XD

  • "Best" is subjective. Only thing certain is that the PS3 is the most powerful and expensive.

Why are we talking about consoles here?

  • I have this game but my supernintendo doesn't work anymore :(

  • this song rocks

  • i never played the original f zero, but i prefer the old versions to any of the newer ones. can't seem to find mp3s though. anyone know where i could find em? tried rapidshare and torrents but no luck.

  • you missed out man.. i still got mine

  • Damn I remember playing F-Zero all the time just to get to Fire Field to hear this track, then I would pause the game and just sit back and relax and listen to this.

  • "the bass sounds plain orgasmic." I could not have said it any myself, I don't care what anyone says, this will always be a classic and you can't beat the classics.

  • You are right.... But you can always try if you own a large stick and are feeling 'THE RAGE!'.

    F-zero fuxoring rox! N i c e T o t t s.

  • Captain Falcon watching TV: Show me the news!

  • @humskopf true so true

  • @humskopf

    LOL. SO TRUE
