This is amazing, for the last few years, I have participated in Day of Silence. It makes me happy to know that alot more people do it then most people would think. I participate because I was bullied from the time I was 9 'til now, about being Bisexual.[Yes I've known for a long time that I like girls and guys] My fiance also participates, cause he supports me in my sexuallity and he really dislikes when people try to make fun of me for it.

Idk, people at my school were doing this and I thought it was stupid, because being silent isn't really going to help anything, it's actually being ignorant, I was in math and couldn't talk to my friend all period long!
@Grievousig101 The point is to be silent for a day to make a statement for those who are forced to be silent. For them, silence isn't voluntary. It's the same as the 30 hour famine, not eating for 30 hours isn't really going to fill someone else's stomach, but it's the thought and the raising money for the cause that counts.
@Grievousig101 Thousands of people coming together for a good cause is not ignorance. YOU are ignorant for being so selfish and inconsiderate to other peoples unfortunate misfortunes.

@alwaysgrandmasgirl Thanks :) I've only had less than 20 lessons. But my co worker's husband is deaf and he comes over to eat lunch with his wife every day so I get to practice a little :) I was soooo nervous that I wouldn't get it right! I'm glad you approve :)
I wish i could say i was silent but i just seen the video but i am proud to say i would have been silent.im going to be silent for a whole week. weather it be next week of the week after i will be silent for a week

I've always been told I'm not good enough and everything that happens in my family is my fault yet I am the only one in college making something of my life.
