I like what you did from start to finish. I am building a 72 cj-5 and having alot of fun doing it. I used to own full size broncos, & let me tell ya, Jeeps are way better to work on and they perform better too.

ur all hurtin i work at a dodge dealer and own a jk sure its plastic and theres tons of stuff to put on aftermarket wise but a set of 8 ply 285 70 17s fit right on rip the side steps off and the thing goes anywhere swaybar links r for cars rip the thing off and it woulda crawled way higher up that ramp snorkel tires rip ur swaybar link off and caller a day

Well, I don't know where you're coming off with the plastic comment. As for the new 3.8, it gets more horses, more torque and better gas mileage. The ONLY thing the I6 had over the V6 is that it produced torque at a lower RPM.

New JK Rubis also have electric locker front and rear, elec sway bar disco, and Dana 44s front and rear.

@Dwealdric actually the dana 44s aren't much to be proud of, they break just as easily as any other typical dana 35s running 33s or higher with aggressive offroading. Only difference is basically the c-clips. Yes they are stronger, but not by much. A ford 8.8 or dana 60 is a way better alternative, actually a superior dana 35 axle kit is more reliable than the 44s

TJ is better. Straight 4.0 liter engine may take a little more gas but it is a superior engine. And I used to own a 2007 jeep wrangler x and it had too many issues. I traded it in and bought a 2000 jeep wrangler sport and am much happier with it.

ive owned both. i love my jk like i cant even explain, i have a 4 door though. it crawls so much better than 2 door jeeps. just get a 3in lift and some 35's and you are ready for anything reasonable to a little crazy
