@1555explorer Thanks, the HXR looks like a really nice camera. I don't know much literally just looked it up quickly after reading your comment haha. But keep searching and look into DSLRs like the canon 5D mkII.

with what software you edit?

when I shoot in 1080i, the Adobe Premiere CS4 won't allow me to edit in HD.

I'll have to edit in DV. :S

I'm using an HD tape, am I doing something wrong?

@xonkarate I edit on Final Cut Pro. Unfortunately I am not very familiar with the capture settings in Adobe. There should be a way to change the capture settings to HDV, 1080i, 1080p24, or... something along those lines. Once again I am not familiar with the settings adobe has for capturing. I'm sorry. Maybe see if you need to change the sequence settings to HD. Let me know if any of this helps, I'm sorry. Good luck.

GL2 used at 1:57-2:01, 4:13- 4:15

DVX used at 2:05-2:06, 2:15-2:18, 2:48-2:51

I've shot on both of them, the GL2 was my Highschool best friend, and the DVX... well it's the DVX I've used it to manny times.
