and just because he uses a topic that's been on other comedians programs before and HAPPENS to - omg, wait for it - also use the WORD context.. does NOT make it the same thing.. gotta go with @ernstergarcia on this one.
@AJAntonsson other than that: CR with arguably the best of all o'his shows!!! freakin HILARIOUS!!!!
and for all you Carlin lovers: yeah, he's great.. but even if CR used his stuff, that's actually a good thing, because he's gonna put his swagger in there to upgrade that stuff LOL
What if the person that HE called a nigga, was acting like a nigga? I'm not trying to disrespect any black people, I've got black friends. I'm all for black rights I hope whatever is holding you back stops holding you back.
Funny how chris rock contradicts himself everytime he releases a new album.
@Rationalization Not really. He said that saying the word nigger is ok, and that he hated seeing his white friends holding themselves back from saying it when a song with the word "nigger" came on.
it doesn't sound like a rip off of carlin. carlin was saying context in terms of what you can joke about, not about whether somebody should be fired for using an offensive term. on carlin's album "parental advisory: explicit lyrics," he was specific about groups trying to control what you can joke about. rock's routine is different.
add to which, rock is an acolyte of carlin. he had him on his show to discuss one of his books and the seven words you can't say on tv.
I haven't seen enough of Carlin to compare this joke to anything of his, I hope Chris Rock isn't ripping him off. But I do know that this clip is absolutely hilarious! One of my favorites of all time, by any comedian
right!! 7 dirty words is the most famous comedic accomplishment in my opinion. I fuckin hate how he put so much emphasis on "context" in which the words are used...its almost quote for quote in the way Carlin used them.
what is it with you guys?
plz, that is no ripoff or whatever..
