@HayelsMartin - Cheers pal will have to look into that. I remember in the early days that the singer, Martin Rossiter?, was likened to Morrissey. Although there are similarities both with the two, and possibly even their respective bands, I think that they both have a uniqueness about them. Will try and get hold of some Gene stuff and let you know what I think. Thanks again.

@6DoKtoR3 Yes ,the band were often liken'd to the Smiths,it was a bit of a nail in their coffin to be honest.As you state ,both bands quite unique.Yes top up on the old gene stuff and keep youe eyes open for Martin Rossiters upcomin solo stuff.There was also a band called The Palace fires,u will find them on utube,its the drummer and guitarist from gene,sound nothing like gene but a great band ! later
