The crowd and fight scenes are so real, it seems alsmost like a documentary and it's so gripping from start to finish. I love the part where the generals are told to leave by a certain door if they want to avoid the press, after being indicted for murder, and the door is locked and their indignation on being subject to the legal process.

Exellent Work! i saw "Z" the last year and reading the book right now, it was a very great political/social film, my favorites, the music of theodorakis is powerful and beauty, very goog the last part of the video with originals photos of lambrakis! power to the People!
apparently theodorakis wrote and recorded some of the score while he was a political prisoner, some of the original recordings can be heard on the vinyl LP of the movie.filmed in algeria produced and played by the frensh, telling a true greek saga, the essence of the people of the mediterranean(I'm one) is in that music.
Mr. Outis, you ve'done it again. Thank you for the great footage from "Z", and the music by Theodorakis. Lambrakis was a really heroic figure, whose sacrifice was later exploited by the Greek Communist Party in their effort to
why george papandreou "the father of democracy" as they call him in here the bloody unticommunist, did not make an alliance with eda to avoid the dictatorship???????

Commies and fascists, not much of a choice....
I liked "Z" a lot when it first came out, it's a good film,
but the 'good guys' are certainly grasping for political
advantage themselves. They are quite willing to
sacrifice a naive disarmament advocate to displace
the admittedly deserving thuggish and fascist military.

The sequence with Sartzetakis interrogating the army officers is very powerful:
"Nom, prenom, profession!"
"One man with courage makes a majority."

Exellent Work! i saw "Z" the last year and reading the book right now, it was a very great political/social film, my favorites, the music of theodorakis is powerful and beauty, very goog the last part of the video with originals photos of lambrakis! power to the People!
atento611 4 years ago
apparently theodorakis wrote and recorded some of the score while he was a political prisoner, some of the original recordings can be heard on the vinyl LP of the movie.filmed in algeria produced and played by the frensh, telling a true greek saga, the essence of the people of the mediterranean(I'm one) is in that music.

Mr. Outis, you ve'done it again. Thank you for the great footage from "Z", and the music by Theodorakis. Lambrakis was a really heroic figure, whose sacrifice was later exploited by the Greek Communist Party in their effort to
establish communist rule over Greece.

u unhistoric.....uneducated.....communist party never wanted or never knew what to do with the aspect of power....and that was it's problem......
