See the two great documentaries about Belarus and Lukashenko. Just click on my profile. The first documentary is "Kalinovski Square", which can be seen as a general introduction to Belarus and the rigged election in 2006. The second is "A lesson of Belarusian", which follows a group of young activist fighting for a change. Both documentaries are illegal in Belarus!

Belarusian vodka is the best in the world. Half a bottle of White Stork takes you to Happy Land in no time at all. I was staggering around the streets of Mogilev like an alkey tramp,swearing at passing cars until the police turned up, beat me up and said if I ever returned to Belarus I would be wearing concrete boots at the bottom of a lake. I wish we had coppers like that in the U.K. It would sort all our problems out!

Yes; the women are beautiful and have pleasant personalities. Also, the Belarussian society has held on to some strong traditional values.

I too visited the city of Minsk, Belarus in October 2005. The women were absolutely beautiful! If you're a single man, I highly suggest visiting Minsk!
