At first to express my support for impeachment, and then to find out why a democrat controlled congress won't impeach a criminal republican president. It's true. The Democratic Party did lay some of the groundwork for what the Republican Party would carry out fully. That way, the bosses of the Democratic Party could gain from the benefits of a foreign war (distracting the citizenry from domestic concerns, stifling general reforms, abridging the constitutional liberties of their fellow citizens, etc.) just as the bosses of the Republican would, but without directly taking the blame like the Republican Party did. I emailed my congressman about impeachment of the president a bunch, but he kept telling me that as much as he wanted to he wouldn't due to the house speaker's claim that it was off the table; in my opinion, namcy pelosi is against accountability because it'd come back to her with regards to the torture issue, she was on the house intelligence committee when they worked with the CIA, she and the committee approved the use of torture and she's trying to hide it with her authority as house speaker
