ALL I CAN IMANGE IS HOW GREAT & HOW FAR THESE BROTHERS WOULD HAVE GONE ON TOGETHER. JIMMY KEEP THE TOURCH LIT AND STEVIE I KNOW YOU CAN SEE IT FROM ABOVE. BLESS YOU BOTH! A FAN FOREVER!!
My dad worked security at Miller Auditorium at Western Michigan University when Stevie Ray Vaughan was playing there. After the show he was talking to SRV and found out it was his 32nd birthday. My dad told him he knew some cool places in downtown Kalamazoo and they hit up the bars together. Probably the coolest thing anyone in our family has ever done!
It's the first song off the last album he recorded titled "Brothers" which he recorded with his older brother Jimmie. The first memories I can remember are of me listening to this song. That whole album is engraved in my brain.
When I saw him the first time it was back in 1986 when he warmed up Santana at Meadowbrook, I knew immediately that he had the blessing. Together they were like a loaded Double Barrel Shotgun! Always enjoyed every minute, every harmony, and every solo.
@metalliczombie that's fender's signature model for srv, wich is kind of a replica of stevie's number one, and has been refinished to look more like his guitar
the "number one" built by fender, as Stevie called his guitar, is much more than just a guitar. With a mast of rosewood, 22 jumbo frets, a floating bridge standard, 3 lozenges Special Edition Fender Texas Special Single-Coil (such as riding the emerging model Fender Stratocaster Model Robert Cray), and a single edition kicker, with initials engraved guitarist
@doggyneza I know, Mexico is amazing!! Pero es curioso, ¿por que un hombre americano tendría más fanes en México? No me entienda mal, México es de maravilla, pero parece curioso que una persona tenga más fanes en otro país que su pais de origen?? =)
