Just saw this now, Oh my god Lindt orange intense is my FAVOURITE! And the cranberry really does work, I've cured myself a couple of times with it (same brand!)
Man the progressive thing, I know exactly what you mean but I don't want to know. I don't think it would make a difference to me other than making me depressed, and as long as it's oficially rr, they will keep trying the drugs.
45 degrees huh? I've had lots of cold oat/rice/soy milk in my coffee lately!
Incidentally my Neuro has progressive patients on Tysabri... met one last week in the infusion room. He believes that the Tysabri helps Progressive also - I didn't know that. I agree though - to have that diagnosis would mean many things would no longer be available. Hoping 2010 sees a big turn around for us both :) Noticed that WA have been testing for CCSVI - won't be long. K
I eat chocolate too and can't live without my coffee. The cranberry is a part of every day as well. It keeps bacteria for sticking to the bladder wall. If you retain urine, then it is good to keep this up. You are my "twin"..i swear. I find this quite funny. Have a great day.
Yum!!! All this talk of chocolate and coffee is giving me major cravings!! Yes - would like to hear more of your story MsWobblehead! Write me please and tell me about it. You have a great day too. Kerri
I just got over a kidney infection. Made me feel like I had a back ache when it was my kidney's. Those sneaky little organs. I have to watch using cranberry juice as I am blessed with a blood clotting disorder and have to take Coumadin (for the rest of my life). And yes chocolate, coffee, and oatmeal are my staples. I'm happy, awake, and regular!!! ;)
I take two showers a day as well. I can't wake up without one and I can't get to sleep without a nice hot one!
I think this year I am going to research more about diet. Maybe do some non dairy experiments. Chocolate is a favourite of mine too. It makes me VERY happy! dark chocolate especially.
Cranberry helps me too.
Even if your disability level has increased, the secondary progressive is only diagnosed when relapses kind of stop. It is on everyone's mind who has RRMS. Great honest video! x
Wow so much in common! We are probably showering at the same time except at differents ends of the day lol! I am thinking about the non dairy thing too. I am not big on soy but I can have a Chai Soy latte now with honey mmmm. But I have cut down considerably over recent months. Yes dark choccy - works for me. Kx
Hi Kerri! I used to take baths in Italy all the time and I love taking them but I don't any more because they make me too tired while the showers are a little easier on me. I am the weirdest Italian person you have ever met becauseI never drink coffee, except when I feel the craving for it and this doesn't happen very often!
It's good to get to know more about you this way and it's always good to see you!
I really hope that Tysabri will start working for you soon! Best of luck with it!
Cranberry juice was fed to the elderly I used to look after, for the purpose of chasing those possible UTI's away! Sure it works on people slightly younger too! :o)
I think that will offend the Aussie government more than your 2 shower habit.
You will get it sussed out in 2010, but do not give up. The last few years have been obviously RRMS for me but the first few were more like PPMS or SPMS so do not give up.
Happy thoughts.
You look well and once again I enjoyed hearing from you.
Hi Mark, Vegemite on toast is the first meal I have when I am sick! Strangely it IS a comfort food. I weaned my kids onto vegemite too!! Don't knock it till you've tried it at least 20 times - acquired taste! Thanks, Kerri
What you say about losing pleasure in food makes sense, unfortunately. For me, the issue is more constipation (hence no red meat). Frankly, I just imagine whatever goes in having to come back out again...
Re: baths and hygiene. Shouldn't we all just take a more French approach - i.e. washing less and using more perfume?
Yes - me too, I am thinking when I eat... "how well is this going to get through???" hahaha. Wash less and use more perfume.. not sure I could do that! Yes - have been in the sun - happy vitamin A!! Actually today spent a little too long out by the river... tending to resemble a lobster about now - ouch Kx
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. I find everyone's answers so interesting.
Your idea of good foods fit mine to a T!
I love fresh ground coffee, I drink several different types of tea in the evening and as far as chocolate goes, well there really isn't a chocolate I don't like.
When I am feeling bad my hubby will bring me home some just to cheer me up.
I hope that you start seeing some improvement with the Tysabri soon.
Thanks Andrea, I like to think coffee and chocolate goes really well when watching 'chocolat' My friend got me on to this - works really well when you are feeling low!!! lol
Cold feet and hands since my internal masculine compost heap has been cooled down, with regular acupuncture, over the last 18 years.

You don't drink coffee??? I actually use it to treat my fatigue... feeling a little sleepy... a double shot latte does the trick.
Think I will make one now actually... ciao Kerri
