nice flight, I like upgrading my axe as I crash it, it cuts down on the cost of learning to fly a heli as the more you rebuild something familier, you learn what works and doesn't. You also learn how to properly set up.
I have this bird for almost a year and erything that I replace on this bird is because it is broken ( wear and tear or crash) except for the bell and hiller. Instead of buying stock parts I try to see if parts from other helis would work, sometimes they are even cheaper. I have other helis (t-rex, SJM500, etc..) and sometimes I will replace broken parts with spares for my other helis. The motor is brushless because the stock motor burned and took out the 4-1 and reciever with it.

That's an Axe? Doesn't sound like the stock motor. How much other more money did you dump into this 200$ heli?

I am sure the total price of the replacement parts is more than the purchase price. But I just replace them as they break.
