  • Well, he sure is cute though!

  • This is extremly painful

  • I'm a nurse at an ear, nose and throat office. I've seen this done countless number of times but I do have to say those packing strips were pretty LONG. No wonder he was coughing blood!!!!

  • WOW! Amazing! You got a nice nose though.

  • I want to punch that nurse in the chin wtf are you wearing gloves for?

  • Just got mine out today and it was longer than freaking stairway to heaven, I cried. I never cry.

  • The nurse is very inexperienced. Fannies about way too much. I had mine removed yesterday and it took all of 30 seconds.

  • Believe me people, it is very very painful!! dont ever get septoplasty done. just live with it, u'll be better off...n u shud believe it coming from someone who's had it 2 days back!!

  • omg I'm dying watching this !!!!!!!!!!!!!! had no idea the packing was that long. SCARY! I was thinking of having a septoplasty when I have a rhinoplasty but now I just want to leave the septum as it is.. LOL Aahhhhhhhhhh so scary

  • I had that done about 20 years ago - shed loads of blood gushed out of mine...

  • i had my packing removed 15 hours after surgery, it was sooo painful, i dont know why they removed it so early after reading some comments

  • @bananaboots989 Yeah I had my surgery at 3:00PM monday, and I think at like 6AM on Tuesday morning they took my packing out, didn't hurt or feel uncomfortable 1 bit.... but I think it was primarily do to the fact that I was OUT COLD when they woke me up, so maybe my senses were messed up

  • I just had my packing removed and it didn't hurt at all. It was 1 week after my surgery.

  • i would have pulled those out myself, that chich was taking way too long

  • just fucking take it out already!

  • you pig

  • when i removed mine ..

it didnt hurt 1 bit :S

it only kept bleeding but thats all ..

  • It's similar to me, yesterday..............

    ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh pain!!!

  • I had my surgery 3 days ago and I'm having the packing and stents removed in 4 days. This is by far the most uncomfortable I've been. Lots of pain. Not looking forward to this.

  • Ouchh. How long you had the packing in your nose ? How are you feeling now ?

  • @psydickead I ain't no kid, I'm 19 eat a dick cunt

  • @mattycull

I didnt mean to offend you, tough guy. Whats your problem, man?

  • Comment removed

  • @soakthisup hehe too true mate ;)

  • @mattycull

    Your rectum is bleeding.

  • @mattycull That was pretty grown up of you, man o' the world. :P

  • God I feel so bad for this kid everytime I watch it. How did the second op go?

  • I am having this done tomorrow........had my surgery on Monday...........Septoplasty and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery!

  • I am going in tomorrow for my second nasal operation. The polyps have since returned. My ENT specialist has suggested the continuing daily use of Rhinocort nasal spray indefinately as a precaution to prevent the return of the polyps. When I first had ths surgery I was unaware of the risk of the polyps returning but am now confident that I am educated enough to avoid the polyps returning again after the second operation. Wish me luck!

  • Guys i want to share what i have been through. I had surgery septoplasty. It went fine and i was discharged from hospital and returned home happily , but after couple of days it started bleeding heavily , i went to A&E and to stop the bleeding they put packing in my nose..I repeat again they put packing in my nose whithout and anesthatic or any medicine which can help me to have less pain. That was the worst time of my list in 27 years for the pain i sufferd. I was almost unconscious for 4 hours

  • Why were they so massive?

Maybe he forgot to cut it out

  • omg those things were huge

  • I got this stuff taken out. Not too bad. I didn't irrigate at all and it came out fine. But You have to irrigate after its out

  • THIS SHIT FUCKING SUCKS HARD! I HATE IT. I WANT TO FUCKING DIE!

  • Yeah, my doctor just pulled em out, then went to work with the suction. They did use numbing though...

  • eww

  • WTF is LED flashing shit on the doctors chest? Is that to hypnotize the patient?

  • @TheCottonTop I quite literally had never noticed that until you pointed it out haha, it didnt do anything lol

  • Ok. I'm having endoscopic surgery soon, and after watching this, I dunno. Was it really worth it? That looked awful! I hope you were heavily medicated when they removed that packing...

  • did your doctor say why he was packing your nose as opposed to just using splints? my doc said that packing is unnecessary and splints work just fine. I don't know your specific circumstances; I am just wondering if your doc put you through this discomfort unnecessarily.

  • Thanks for sharing this vid! I am having sinus polyp surgery in a few months. I really appreciate the video. Has your breathing/ symptoms improved since having the septoplasty?

  • wow she's really careful/ thorough. my doc just went down there with the tongs and yanked em out. felt funny but didn't hurt...just felt weird.

  • fuckign hated it when i got my gauze removed

  • just pull it ouuuuttttttt

  • Omgggg your video is by far the most disturbing. I had this surgery last Wednesday and am dredding yet very much looking forward to getting the splits taken out. I can't believe you had THIS much bleeding, yikes!!! Did it hurt having them removed???

  • @Summerbabe08080 yes it was very uncomfortable

  • @mattycull I feel wonderful after the surgery, I can't believe the difference, I had no idea what I was missing out on!! Not only that, but my sense of taste and smell is stronger now as well. Very well worth all the misery. Hopefully you had great results also!!

To anyone having/had this surgery, or waiting to get the splints out, HANG IN THERE, the first night is the worst by far, and when you finally do get the splints out (it felt like an enternity waiting!) the relief is euphoric!

  • @mattycull Just got my gauss out today. Noticing some swelling in the middle of my nose, any tips?

  • What the hell is that?!!!!

  • @JrPilk Brain matter.

  • what is a gauze

  • I just had the same surgery yesterday (deviated septum, polyps, turbinate reduction). My doctor has me irrigating my nose 5 times per day with saline solution, instead of doing the packing. Thank God - I'm glad I didn't have to suffer through what you did.

  • GOD!!!!! I had this surgery 3 days ago... and can't wait to have this gauze out... IT'S KILLING MEEE!!!

  • pulling out the packing for me felt like they were pulling my eyeball out though my nose, that hurt more than anything else.

  • Sometimes a man gotta do what a man gotta to go

  • I,ve had it twice...........:-{................septoplasty+septorhinoplasty+cartilage augmentation...............holy shit it,s painfull as well as disgusting

  • Let me tell you this surgury is the grossest thing they ever invented. But it saved my life.

  • @BlueStateChronicle saved your life?

  • @mattycull Yes. You can end up with meningitis, and die from sinus disease. I was just about dead. Damn insurance refused to pay at first.

  • is this normal???? do i have this too???

  • @TimeToWakeUpHasCome i dont know maybe see a doctor, polyps are an abnormal growth from infection

  • Awwwww honey, I felt your pain all the way over here. It must have been massively uncomfortable. Are you better after all that?

  • @javajunkie101 not really they have returned but have been taking antibiotics, 50% reoccurring rate

  • @mattycull I'm sorry about that. I wish there was something that could help you once and for all. Hang in there.

  • daaaaaaaaamn and you had to do this because you couldn't breath out of your nose right?

  • omg i cant believe i just ate a full packet of crisps while watching this

  • I had to regain my composure after watching this...I felt faint...Hate to get somthing like this done!

  • Dude your lucky. my packing was way longer than that mine was like 2 feet long

  • @MohammedJafar gratz bro

  • @mattycull damn duuuuuuuude you brave bastard! that shit was painful! had mine done few days ago hurt like crazy!

  • i go in for a septoplasty on the first of october and they said they wont use splints or guazes but a new high tech foam

  • I got septoplasty and when they took the stints out (the tube looking thingies) it hurt so bad, and I coughed just like u did in this vid D: I cried a lil. Blood was draining down the back of my throat, and it felt like the tube things were in the back of my throat, and under my eyes. it was quite dang painful and irritating. If I EVER had to get surgery again with my nose, I wouldnt want to just for the pain the stints caused being pulled out :\ But I was 15, and I could handle it :] dont worry

  • I am going to schedule a septoplasty in the very near future. Also turbinoplasty. I have a deviated septum and polyps. I am congested all the time.

I am afraid of whether the pain/discomfort of the surgery is worth it to be able to breathe freely.

    Any advice?

  • @jp547 I couldnt smell properly before my surgery, i was always congested with thick chunks of hard snot but it was worth it as i can breathe easily and dont get congested

  • @mattycull Hello Matt. I cant breath correctly from my nose, its huge and one of the doctors said I had a deviated septum. Im soon 16 years old and he said it has to be performed at 18. Afterall im taller than my parents and I dont think my nose is gonna grow anymore because its enormous.

This doctor was turkish afterall and I dont trust him dont ask why.. I currently live in Sweden and do you think its worth to have it checked up here for free?

  • @jp547 Oh, it's absolutely worth it!! I had a deviated septum from breaking my nose 3 times (not at the same time). I got my surgery last year when I was 14, and I'm so glad I did, I couldnt breath much out of one side of my nose it was closed. The aftermath of the surgery is dozing off pretty all day, and its hard to sleep the first night the pain is pretty bad, and I had strong pain killers. You'll need help walking anywhere cause you'll be very very dizzy and very tired

  • @jp547 just finished my septo plasty and no pain at all fro me and after packing is removed it is well worth it

  • hi' am only young teen and id just watch ur video and can u give me an advice if i continue to go to surgery because am going to the same procedure.. coz after i watch u i felt afraid... tnx

  • @ProBoy25 What is the reson for your operation?

  • @mattycull probably the same as yours sinus?

  • @ProBoy25 the gauze was an uncomfortable experience, i had to sleep overnight with it, the removal was very uncomfortable because the person that was doing it had never before. It was well worth the operation now though as i am much clearer in my sinus

  • yeah had this exact thing done yesterday....got my packing out this morning at six....like it isnt painful, its just unbelieveably uncomfortable, such a relief to get rid of the packing, but didnt notice it was up there. it also released an unbelievable amount of blood and mucus into my mouth.

  • OMG that brought back mimories. I had that done also, and boy was that painful. I feel alot better after the surgery, but I sure wouldn't want to go through that again.!!!

  • why didnt this women rip it out.. she took her sweet ass time!!

  • I did that myself the other day, I found that using a 50 ml syringe w sodium chloride made the process a lot less painful than i could have been (simultaneously inject a bit as youre dragging out the gauze - and dont force it since that really hurts like hell...)

  • Septoplasty ( which I am getting next week Tue) is to straighten the Septum which runs up the middle of your nose and can restrict your breathing .

  • @molley3268 yeah i had a deviated septum, and also nasal polyps which were removed, hence the extreme gauze up my nose

  • WHAT THE FCK is SEPTOPLASTY?? could anyone tell me in detail what is the purpose of it? I have seen so many videos of it here and it's exteremly pain looking and disgusting.

  • @akmalhakimvlog

I think the pain varies a lot from person to person. I'm at day 3 post op and I've been through hell with congestion, sinus headache and probable infection (for which Im eating broad spectrum antibiotics). Dragging out the gauze was a bitch, but I have more problems w the congestion and pulsating sinus pain...

Did not know it could hurt this much before I did it...

  • @stafdude i was the same, i pretty much sat in bed for days after in pain with heaps of congestion and blood

  • dude wft is that?! and how come you had to get it up your nose what does it do?

  • that looks horrible! your better now right?

  • pussy

  • @mahervellous just cos i have 14,000 views chris

  • whattt the heelllllll, i hade a nose job too but didnt have anything like that in my nose :S

  • Holy crap. Those were huge splints. Wow! Musta hurt like hell.

  • cripes, did you have a caveman do your surgery? haha.. i had this done a few weeks ago and the removal of the packing was not that difficult or bloody..

  • @hoobie06 nah not a caveman, but shed never done it before, so just as bad

  • im having this surgery in about a week..i have a deviated septum..im excited and scared..does your nose become straight?

    is it really worth it?

  • @mena562 i had mine for deifferent reasons to fix other problems i didnt notice a change in the straightness of my nose lol

  • @mena562 No, fixing the septum will not straighten the nose, you need a full rhinoplasty to do that.

  • When I had the gauze removed post septoplasty, the surgeon snuck it up on me, haha. Just grabbed it by surprise and pulled. Due to my dislike of opioids, I decided it would be a funny trick to convince the nurse I'd already had my shot of pethidene for the removal. You say it's not painful, I can't really relate... I did it without painkillers, and mine was quite painful indeed haha.

  • @ff45t1z i didnt get any painkillers...

  • going for my second round, hoorah!

  • Seems to me would be easier to work if the patient was leaning back or laying down.

  • what a gay cough...

  • @689433 suck a fat dick u try having gauze that far in ur head u soft cock

  • looks to me tht the one that has being sucking dicks is you...to the point tht ypou had to get your nose fixed considering how many cocks and balls were being rammed in your face...

  • getting my op tomorrow didn't realize that the gauze was that long fuck me it was right up there lol

  • ha ha.. this is a miserable surgery. i feel for you.. the worst part for me was a week later when the doctor is trying to scoop clots out of your sinuses and you can feel is metal instruments clinging inside your skull!! miserable

  • holy effin shit, thats whats gonna happen to me next week, i gagged watching this!!!!!!

  • its not that painful i got mine pulled today it wasnt that bad

  • its not painful its just quite uncomfortable because it is so deep it like touches ur sinuses and shit

  • not to mention the blood in the throat

  • man i know the feelin. makes your eyes water like crazy

  • ahah that was an eternity for you right?

  • ahhhhh poor

  • Yep, that's exactly what mine looked like. It was very uncomfortable, but it didn't really cause any pain. But I bled quite a bit after the packing was removed. I had to pinch my nose shut for about 5 minutes, but that in turn made me gag on the blood that backed up into my throat. It was nasty.

  • keep it brutal matty cull

  • Omg dude... I had my surgery yesterday and i have to get it removed tomorrow morning....the HORROR...

  • didn't it feel good. i had it done too my man.

  • Mine are getting pulled tomorrow as well, probably shouldn't have watched that. How did they get that much in there.

  • jeus, that looks painful

  • I had a nose surgery about a year and a half ago and that part was by far the most unpleasant part of the experience. They just ripped mine out and it hurt so bad I thought I was going to pass out and vomit at the same time.

  • shit man thats intense how much blood came out?

    did u nearly die?

    woah thats crazy

  • jeez, blow your nose lol

  • I'm having my surgery done on the 22nd of this month... give it to me straight cos I really can't bring myself to watch this entire video - how painful is this procedurE?

  • Were you coughing from the pain or was it obstructing your airway a bit? Looked like you really wanted to cry, but you played it off as a cough instead! =)

  • Aww, you poor guy!

  • what i wanna know is how he fuk did you breath all the time with that stuff in your nose??????

  • its called a mouth

  • Oh my God.

    That looked like it hurt!

How far up was the gauze?

  • about 20cms

  • whats a gauze?

  • its stuff they put up your nose to stop bleeding after an operation

  • oh k thanks

  • shouldve pulled it out like a bandaid 1-2-3 very fast :D

  • Jesus mary and joseph

  • what the fuck was that wb

  • oh my goodness D:

    soo much bloodd.

  • yeah very extremely painful
