ive tried this befor, u get no more air flow with multi fans as to the blades not being at the same angle at the same time to create more thrust

i tried it with 8 of my 12 fans, it sounds cool tho, for some reason when blowing one fan threw another it puts more drag on the first one and so on, mine where 12-26v comp server fans tho, anyways cool idea tho =)

OK thing about Axial fans, in order to gain air speed and volume through them, each fan has to have blades spinning in opposite directions with the blades curving the air the same direction. A 2 blade opposed rotation vain axial in the form of an 80mm running at 3000RPM would produce 3 times the CFM then that stack of fans you have there. Read how jet compressors work and it will give you a better idea.

donyario can be proved wrong just take any fan and go put another behind it guess what happens the fan speeds up why cause more air is being pushed pass the blades and that makes the rpms go UP an that gives you more cfm. BUT this will break most fans.
