  • very good! people don't relise how hard it is to do this. This was great :) but i have 2 ask 2 questions first

    #1) How did you track the camera movement in blender from your footage?

    #2) I have just spent 13 hours trying to get blenderpeople to work but when i try to press "alt p" on the text, it askes me for a password for mySQL but i was never given one.... : / i don't no if u can help me, but plz try, if u want any more info then just ask, thanks, plz get back to me as soon as possible.

  • Hi there. I used a program called icarus to track DV footage and export the tracking data as a human readable .txt file. I used a script in blender that could interpret files generated by icarus and generate IPOs for the camera. I imported any camera related data from one .blend file to the one used in blenderpeople. That's where I did the animation simulation and then some compositing later.

    To use blenderpeople you'll need a list of features on the author's website.
