May I just say for the record, that I am so not happy with how this relationship thing with Archie and Lexie was written! Where was the relationship developement? The romance? He hardly shows any real affection or attraction to her and bam, suddenly, he's in love with her AND declares he wants to get married(after being in a partnership with someone for 5 years), says she's the love of his life. So abrupt! What were they thinking? Reminds me of how they treated him and Katrina finally...
@chiarabocelli agreed.. Like most of the love story arcs in this series, it's not credible.. I love MotG, but the romantic parts could've been written so much more believable..
@Alibbiyax OMG, I was thinking the same thing! Of all the possibilities, they should that monstrosity. Such a shame because she is so pretty, so many possibilities. Also don't know why they had to do the whole thing with her saying she couldn't do it because housekeeping is all she knew.....after YEARS of pining for him. Lexie has so much class and beauty inside and out, but I must say that red dress looked terrible. It wasn't "Lexie" quality. It wasn't even made right in the front and it made Lex look much bigger than she really is. They should have made Stella wear it...would have been perfect for her!
I always remember this was shown originally at New Year 2001 and the follow up episode didn't come on for 2 weeks after which was gruelling as I was dying to know what happened next when everyone found out about them getting engaged.
I feel a little bit for Stella in this ep, purely because I know how it feels to love someone who'll never feel the same way back.
But HOORAH! For Lexi and Archie FINALLY getting together!!!!
